Every truth. Resigned, along with his assistant, after Sunday's 5-1 home defeat to Kilmallock - Geraldines' fifth defeat in their opening six games.
Aisling Annacotty 2-1 Ballynanty Rovers: AA stay in third despite Rovers overtaking attempt (https://limerickdl.wordpress.com/2016/09/08/aisling-annacotty-2-1-ballynanty-rovers-aa-stay-in-third-despite-rovers-overtaking-attempt/)https://limerickdl.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/aaballa.jpg?w=600

Any truth Mike Considine gone from the Geraldines?
That's true, think he got a shock in the difference it is being a number 1 as opposed to a number 2, Tommy Barrett has taken over the reigns for a few months.

He's a great fitness coach is he not gone back as number 2

Geraldines have a chance to pull it out of the bag now, depending on who Moyross get as a manager. If they can sign players they'll both have a chance to get out of trouble. I'm still picking Pike to win the league and Geraldines to go down though.

I agree and it has been a problem for few years great attacking team but conceding 3 to regional wouldn't warrent much confidence, they were much better last year and more organised.

Very good game but Aisling must be regretting the couple of simple chances they had to go in front which would have lead imo to a completely different outcome,Fairview did well Daffy very impressive.missed Mawdsly injury what happened there?
AlanOB

The incident in which Mawdsley picked up his knock was so innocuous that I don't recall it. Hopefully he's ok.
Agree with your synopsis. It was indeed a very entertaining game, that could have gone the other way if Aisling had converted the first-half chances they wasted when the wind was with them.
Statistics are also up-to-date by the way, featuring a three-way tie for top goalscorer: https://limerickdl.wordpress.com/statistics-201617/

Only seen the 2nd half and fairview battered them and could have scored 6 or 7, Aisling keeper pulled off 2/3 great saves, Fairview will be strong when they get everyone out, I think they will be Pikes closest challengers this season.

Thursday's game against Janesboro will be very informative in that regard.
On the basis of what I've seen so far, I think it could be a high-scoring affair.

Boro's defence looks like their downfall, Fairview are free scoring themselves at the minute. Pike should win handy tomorrow night too.

Predictions for tonights games:
AA 1-3 Pike
Ballynanty 1-1 Regional
Nenagh 2-2 Killmallock
Bottom two games tough to chose a winner

Kilmallock have to travel to Nenagh on a Tuesday night for a 6.30 kickoff at this stage of the season??! Must be nearly half the league over by now is there??

6.15 kickoff, even.
A ridiculous ask, and almost guarantees that their impressive recent run will come to an end - several players will be unavailable to make the trip, if what I'm told is reliable.
Last week should have heralded the last batch of midweek fixtures, given the problem posed by fading light and the mounting risk of muscle injury posed by the non-stop two-games-a-week schedule.

Agreed, very difficult to play thurs, sun and tues at this level with people working I think it was very unfair on Kilmallock

Ridiculous carry on, what a waste of everyone's time. Where's the sense in playing so many games in 5 weeks. Imagine going through so many matches, picking up injuries, fellas missing work for no reason except so the fixtures secretary can get his power fix. How every other game went ahead this week is beyond me, playing in the dark when this is supposed to be one of the best leagues in the country. No need of it whatsoever.

Back soon; the end of the 'midweek madness', as I dubbed it recently, will give me more time to fit it in.
Which game are people most anticipating tomorrow morning? The relegation six-pointer or the potential Ballynanty debuts of O'Neill and Hughes against Fairview?

Carew and Regional will arguably be the best game, and that's not a dig, but Balla and Fairview could be a cracker.

The will win it comfortable in my opinion but if they take the league for granted their biggest rivals could turn out to be nenagh , carew, balla and fairview are not consistent enough and boro look like they have went backwards.

Very honest contribution from Olly O'Driscoll, who is in sensational form so far this season. Great story, and a great way to mark the first appearance of a player on the show. Enjoy.
