There was only 7200 tickets!

I recall not too long ago, when 7,000+ crowds would regularly pack Syrinchicore. This was what Dolan used to tell us all, and with empty seats every week in the Stadium of Lightfingers and a max allowable capacity of 5,900, one can see a hole in Dolans arguement apart from the one he spews from. Besides as things go, no club attendancefigures can be considered gospel.

Back to topic, well done Cork!

officially there was 7,200 on sale, but with all the platinum & gold season ticket holders not having to get tickets for the match and freebies etc...I would have put the total at 8,000 there...there was a lot of people standing at the sides of the st annes end and at the back too....

1,800 per my listing, so it seems we're achieving the goal of erring on the side of caution, which is good.

Do you have a breakdown of that? Would be interesting to compare it with the estimates...

1,200 Pats fans must have forgot to go to the recent Derry game then, you had about 800 at that one.

I compiled a list by asking the club officials at the games what the official attendances were. Some are estimates as they hadn't finished counting the tickets when I asked but it won't be far wrong.

When I asked I was told it was 960, down from 2,040 at the first game between the two sides.

If you mean Dublin City vs. St Pats, it was almost certainly our biggest crowd of the season. And the previous record was 1200 vs Bohs. It was just conceivably 1000, and probably several hundred more.

Worst yet just under 300 the two losses back to back Derry/Harps and the races would have a lot to do with it but will see gates pick up if we win a few back to back.

I was out of the country for Dundalk & Derry Home games but we has 1,100 plus for Derry.
