galway's home attendences have been quite reasonable (for a 1st division team)....
the kilkenny game had about 700-1000, but i wasnt able to make the limerick game, so i dont know about that one...if anyone would like to tell us, that would be great :D

I'd say that because of your season ticket vouchers give it 5 or 6 games and you will be back to your sh!t crowds of 400ish :p

well TheRealRovers, what have Shhligo's attendences been so far this season?
No way was there 6000 there. Stand full = 1800, Camac full on both sides of the gantry but not impossibly jointed = about the same again, say 500ish between the Shed and the turnstile end. Call it 4250 in round numbers
or call it 3500 cos thats what it was, was down the club last nite talkin to the event staff

About 700 max in Tolka tonight for Continuity Home Farm v Pats. Bizarre being at an away match where there's absolutely no point singing "**** team, no fans" cos there was no CHF fans there to hear it. Or maybe they've adopted a sneaky tactic of sitting away from each other so as not to draw attention and invite a slagging.

I'd be surprised if there were 700 there, seemed closer to 500. We brought more to Richmond Park for the cup game last year than showed up last night. Most of our fans were in the, ahem, director's area.
With any kind of significant vocal support we probably would have racked up the cricket score our play deserved.

Yeah at most 500 at the game. Worst crowd I've ever seen (non Harolds Cross talking anyway...) No more than 30 home fans.
Depressing night all round. Dublin City are the worse team I've ever seen but still could've beat us handily if Adamson wasn't so damn good

ALICC(see below!)......you still counting in units of 10,then......SE!
That should be ''estimating'' in units of 10. I think you'll find it's quite common.

Well, who knows....or cares.....This is the 21st Century....If they can do in Rugby,GAA & racing...they can use an electronic counting system in the EL/IL(Down to sheer idleness/Incompetence!)...they use this in the Lge.Of Wales & Scots.lower division, which are of comparable size or worse!
You get a no.of PC EL fans raving about how people should support their local sides....I hope they do.....what credibility does Irish soccer have,IF they can't even count their crowds Accurately....FFS!
Know Shams./Longford obviously embarassed by their crowds......but not counting properly,is hardly going to make their problems go away.....Muppets! ALICC!
Wha ???
HTF is it my fault the attendences aren't published ?

600 for Dwogs-Dewwy - Dwogs message boawd (http://drogs.irishfootie.net/viewtopic.php?t=1349)
Or should we guesstimate that at 629 to keep Davros happy?

Would examine yer choice of team supported & see who is the wiser.....

Your better than him because your team releases attendances?
Davros, there aren't any official attendances published yet. Nothing we can do about it. In the meantime, for the sake of interest, we have to go by guesstimates, which mayn't be accurate, but certainly aren't random. If you would like to come to a game and count the attendance, by all means do so. In the meantime, please make it easier for me to ignore your contribution to this thread...

Derry 2300 (missing Rovers)
Drogheda 1200
Dublin City 500
Longord 1550
Pat's 2750
Shels 3500 (missing Drogheda)
Rovers 1100

Anyone know anything on the gaps?

TT,If I supported any current EL club,I'd be embarrassed than they can count the small crowds in Scotland,Wales & er,the Czech Republic more accurately.....
They can count them - they just don't bother releasing them.
PS blames the FAI,who frankly are also embarrassing.....
Well duhhh! :D

Roughly 2000 at the Shels Dubs match I'd say. We'll call it 1999 then.

Fair to split the difference, call it 1600? Try and err on the side of caution, so at least we have minimum figures.
Waterford-Longford was 2700 per the Examiner today.

Dublin City's official site is very closely associated with the club, and generally carries conservative crowd estimates (which suggests to me that they've seen the official figures.) Given the club's relatively close ties with Shelbourne, this may be the case here also. Still, 1600 looked about right to me.

1,600 seems a decent figure alright if we're eering on the side of caution. Sheridan as a matter of interest about how full was the Drumcondra end stand? I was in the middle of it and it's always hard to judge how full a stand your in is. I'm guessing you were in the Riverside?

Yeah, didn't glance at it too often (although I heard "It's just like watching Home Farm" loud and clear), but it looked about 70% full to me. Could be miles out, though.

Really?
What are the attendance amounts for each area of the ground?
I would have thought there were more people in the ground than that figure.

OK, maybe 2500 is a bit high. The stand holds 1800, it was around 2/3 full = 1200. The top part of the Camac had a bit under half that in the first half, say 500, so I'm assuming there was less beyond the gantry. Say 300 between there and at the turnstile end. 2000 total.
