Heres hoping Cook puts out a reserve team monday as this is one waste of time competition. Who ever heard of buying your own medals, the community games wouldnt do that, and 10000 prize (is it still even that),not to mention putting up the FAI shower for the final. Much better off out of this one I feel.

E10,000! Are you serious???

I'd suck the **** out of John Delaney's arse for that kind of money!

Lucky delaney but after paying for everything its not worth it,however much more important imo is the injuries you pick up that might cost 3 points on the friday. If nothing else pride should prevent professional teams from competing in a competition that requires them to pay for medals. Really I thought it a joke first when I read that Sligo had to pay for this and that and might break even after all.

I hear Fenlon might be fielding a weakened team for the League Cup match against Shels tonight. I hope not. Cups like the League Cup and the FAI Cup are competitions Bohs should go for.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that was 7 straight penalties missed in shoot-outs before McCormack finally broke the duck? Shamrock Rovers - setting records all over the place.

City win 1-0 in Wexford thanks to a comeback goal from Mulcahy. He was quality last season, if hes fit the (joint) best defence in the league just got better

Danny Murphy sent off for dissent apparently. No Mark McNulty and no Danny Murphy for Longford now.

Indeed. Ireland's No 1

Good game from 2 reserve teams (effectively).

Yep, I make it between McCormack and the last successful penalty last season, that Kelly's today is the only success in 10 attempts with McCabe and Turner's misses.

Who was your keeper today?? He seemed decent enough. Did well with crosses and such like! Where's he from?

Clancy scores a sweet strike from in on the left.

4-2 now.

great result for Shels. Gives me a warm feeling inside to see them mixing it with the big boys again. As for us, a reality check and a sign of the lack of depth in our squad. Not sure if i agree with it but, rightly or wrongly, the LC is clearly not a priority for us.
