Broadford B 3-0 Carrig Celtic B

Anyone know how Askeaton B got on v Creeves ?

Very interesting last day promotion battle between Broadford and Askeaton depending on the result from Newbridge.

Anyone know how Askeaton B got on v Creeves ?

Very interesting last day promotion battle between Broadford and Askeaton depending on the result from Newbridge.

Askeaton B won 3-1. Creeves keeper sent off for handling outside area on 25mins. Askeaton scored from free kick. Led 2-0 at h/t with breakaway goal from just inside Creeves half. Creeves had penalty saved early second haly but got one back on 70mins. Both sides had chances before Askeaton wrapped in up in added time from the spot. With Broadford B winning it sets up the last round of matches very interestingly.

Dreadful evening in Clounreask lit up by two really good goals from Rovers. They were well on top throughout and led 4-0 before Broadford pulled two back with deflected strikes to make the final score look better. Ian Corbett man of the match and captain. Don't know the scorers names but a great display from the winners. Fair dues to Broadford for keeping going and to get the last two goals. Also nice to see a decent crowd there given that it's a Bank Holidat Monday and horrible weather. Billy and Ryan were also close to man of the match, while Paul Madigan was super for Broadford.

Premier Division League Cup final on Friday, Broadford United v. Shannonside. Who's gonna win?

Shannonside will be all out to win this after going out of the Desmond cup at home to Kileaney last Sunday while Broadford will be looking to win some silverware and this represents their best chance. However I reckon Shannonside will get the better of Broadford in ninety minutes

Should be close but Broadford seem to be getting a bit of form now.

I will chance penalties here, with Shannonside to win due to Rashers ability to save them.
Although, If Broadford play Lynch up front they will cause Shannonside problems at the back, they are slow enough and the pitch is big

Quite possibly. Carrig have an outside chance but they will need Rovers to slip up badly which dosent look likley. You can be sure they will fight hard though.
How are we going to get through this fixture back up, I see NCW are playing Tuesday of next week even

Ya, its a fair mess alright but Div 1 looks even worse. Killeaney now have 6 games in hand on Adare. Disastrous!
On carrig; they have 5 games left, 3 at home. It would be a big achievement to stay up at this stage but not unheard of.

Hard to pick out any outstanding players this yr. I suppose a number of Rathkeale players have to be in there, most prominent maybe Alan o Shea and Peter O Dea , maybe Mike Behan from Shannonside, no one from newcastle really sticks out a whole pile except their 2 centre halves Geary and O Donnell, Ray lynch not around long enough to be considered, Gary Egan maybe, that lad Adam Collins seems to have scored a lot of goals for Ncw Rovers too. Hard to pick one outstanding candidate

I must agree with you there are no outstanding Premier players but you could add Mikey Lyons and Mick Barry of Rathkeale. First Div. Nominees could include Seanie Lynch (Killeaney) David Lavin or Paudie Fitz (Adare) Anthony Molyneaux (Old Mill) or Shane Carroll (Glantine). I can't think of anybody in Div 2. or 3 at the moment
