askeaton have good heart and fine players seen them when ray massey was with them before they went prem.....foley is a good player very very over rated and it is all bout him when he plays he has to score before he sets up another player.................and heard ncw are trying to get ray massey

Who is Ray Massey? Who does he play for?

If the game is up for Askeaton, God help Newcastle. There was only one team playing ball last sunday and they weren`t wearing Black and white, as I said before staying up is the priority for Askeaton but I think we can still take points off of the top teams.

Think he is with Hill Celtic at the moment, he played with Askeaton for 2 seasons good man to get you a goal but his work rate wouldnt be the best.

The game is up in relation to Askeaton winning the league, they will stay up without doubt. As for God helping Newcastle, Last time I checked they had the three points so the didnt really need any help

They have the 3 points thats not in question, but performances like that won`t win them a league. Look every team in this division has had poor results. From what I saw of Abbeyfeale this year which is only 2 games they won`t be in the top three.

Ya I dont think Newcastle will win the league either. I have seen Abbey a few times this season and all that I can say is that now that they have their full squad and a bit of momentum I dont think there is a team out there that can compete with them

have to say ask me tom you have it wrong bout ray his work rate fitness and goals have cum on since askeaton 25 goals last season in town and moved to hill where he has i think 10 in about 12 or 13 games and all goals last season and this has been from left wing hate to see how many he would have got up front..................alot of town teams want him to play prem and ncw too couldnt be the same ray as you know pal
Askeaton lost against Rathkeale, we did not play very well but if we took our chances we would have came away with a draw quite easy, in fairness Rathkeale did deserve to win as we defended poorly and were the better team. However against NCW and if BuddyGeary was playing the same game i was he will admit we were by far the better team and did not have the luck in front of Goals. So we to say the game is up for Askeaon is not quite through really. It will be interesting to see how Rathkeale get on when they play Abbey, NCW, Broadford etc....It is Rathkeales to lose at this stage. They must be 4-7 Favs!

Must have change his attitude from when he was with us so, thats good to see, Don`t get me wrong he scored a lot of goals for us but he didn`t like putting in too much milage on the pitch.

Ray Lynch back to broadford from regional. Just heard that this morning.
Looks like your information is correct. I think he got 2 of Broadfords goals today. Did any of the ex Newcastle boys score for Regional

no none of the ex NCW boys scored they were quite enough to be honest poor enough game. NCW were unlucky enough.

I went to see the Abbey vs Broadford match on Sunday. Abbey dominated for 70 min. They look a really good team but play a very high line and are not exactly blessed with pace at the back, still though I think they will win the league this year. I know they are 6 points behind Rathkeale, but Rathkeale have Abbey to play twice, Broadford to play twice and Newcastle to play in Newcastle. I dont think Rathkeale are capable of winning any more that 1 of those 5 games, where as I think Abbey are capable of doing a real number on Rathkeale now that they seemed to have hit form. As for poor auld Askeaton, I am afraid the game is up.
Bad result for Abbey Sat night 'THE 1' What do you make of there chances now:confused: loosing at home and trying to win a league is not really what you want to be doing now is it...

I think that rule only applies if you are transferring to another team in the same league.

Ya heard that result earlier on. I couldnt believe it, they were so much on top last week and looked really well organised. I thought they had a real chance especially when the had ye to play twice. Glin arent bad but you would expect to beat them at home if you were serious about challenging. I suppose ye have it wrapped up now. What were Ballingarry like today

Delighted with the result yesterday. Our back 4 were outstanding all game and Shane Hallinan covered more ground in the middle of the field than any other junior player I've seen, he scored a cracker of a goal to cap it off.
The first half was very tight with very few chances(both teams were playing five across the middle). We scored about ten mins before half time. We were under pressure for a lot of the second half but Aisling didn't create too many chances. All in all were just happy to be in the hat for the next round.

I know a lad from clonmel. he has told me that they lost a good few of their best players but are still a good footballing side. Will be a very tough game for ye. Didn't NCW get an awful hammering from them a few years ago when they had there good side.
Did Ray Foley play for ye yesterday?

Foley was on the bench yesterday , I see by the TSDL league table Clonmel are 4th, they have been in 4MJC finals in the last 6 years or something which is fair going.

Ya heard it today it came from a very reliable source in yer club, thought it was nuts myself when i heard it. Kildimo did not get a bad draw really, Tough one for yerselves, any away game is tough. Let me know if you get odds for the Munster Junior id be interested in it. On the Regional game yesterday, Was james kelly missing for the game? Was it a fair result?

It usually is around the end of January. Sure the league would not put it up till the week beore the first round. Don't know how to find out whether it was on or not.
