All over Dundalk are promoted
Is that about 3 seasons in a row now where Dundalk have been cruising at the top of that division only to blow top spot in the last few weeks/months.Must be heartbreaking.Pressure on Gill now????
Brilliant!!!!! Dundalk back in the Premier, where they belong

Well done Dundalk.
Looking forward to me first trip to Oriel Park next year!:D
Well done Dundalk.
Cheers the 2 MMs, think I figured out the D alright. :)
And Iorfa, thanks for your input, am only watching Luke play the whole season is all. ;)
He's also played a few games at centre-mid for us Dodge, more than at centre-half actually. It is a strange combo though.
It had said full time on e.l website from Tolka 1-0 Shelsmis it 1-1???

In fairness Dundalk deserve it, there or there abouts all year and especailly after last year - maxi must be turning in his cell.

Youths finished 2-2. 7th place improved by 2 on last season. The future's bright, the future's pink. Next season will be interesting, almost certain to lose a few of the better players now.

Absolutely delighted. But I hope Shels are sorted out when some of the issues relating to premier League clubs are sorted out.
I was checking the scores on aertel. I couldn't believe it when I saw Limerick equalised in injury time. Shels must be gutted but well done Dundalk. There'll be big celebrations there tonight!
Poor finish to the season for Waterford United.

Congratulations to Dundalk!
Thought Shels had it and then Limerick go and score in stoppage time! Great stuff! Glad to see Dundalk go up....good club and great supporters. Well done.
Its just a pity we won't be visiting Oriel next season. :(

League tables never lie.
Personally I hope Limerick's goal was offside and handball

I think you could be right, shels may go up.

I'm not sure Dundalk deserve it tbh, they bottled it again and collapsed over the finish line. Really feel for Shels, Keely's craven attitude to football gets its reward eventually though. But they showed great heart all year.

There's no chance of Shels coming up on a technicality, far more likely that Finn Harps get a reprieve.

I think it's more likely Harps that would benefit but who knows in this league?
It's amazing that after so many games and so many months that the final spot is decided in the final 2 mins of injury time on the last game of the season. Whichever team would have gone up they already have an advantage going into next season in that they will be a tough, battle-scarred team having survived one hell of a season long dog-fight.

Went down. It was a brilliant game of football in front of a great crowd. Shels missed a few great chances and the keeper made some brilliant saves. The limerick keeper was in the shels box in time added on:D. Had a feeling from very early on that it was not going to go Shels way.Limerick fans didnt miss the chance to rub it in either

Not sure about that, still a step up - Cobh & Harps a case in point.

Fair enough, just think its hilarious that in a game that meant nothing, really, to them, Limerick put their keeper up for a corner

Fair play to Dundalk.
At the end of the day they got more points than anybody else and thus deserve to go up.
Congratulations

Amazing finish.
It's a pity we can't have atmosphere's like that at Station Road every week.
I'm probably in a minority by feeling sorry for Dermot Keely and Shels but at the same time, delighted for Giller and Dundalk.
The final 20 minutes or so were played in a surreal atmosphere but the when the news came through of Limerick's equaliser after the final, the scenes around the ground were unbelivable, if you read a finish to a season like that in Roy of the Rovers, you'd say it could never happen.
We've a huge week coming up but tonight was all about Dundalk, I just hope that our lads can lift themselves and we can see the same kind of joy on our side after the play off next week.

What's the story for the playoff, is it one leg or two? If one, who has home advantage?

Did Kildare rest any players tonight?
