He said something like "Cast a cold eye on life, on death, I signed all these players, I'm great, Cretaro pass the ball "
sounds like something Rico would say :D

O'Connor said that he left Fenlon with a much better squad that O'Connor was left with when he took over.
Of course he was absolutely right. I cannot understand the lack of respect for O'Connor on here. He done a very good job with Sligo and finished 3rd in his 1st year with Bohs. Im not sure why so many posters have a go at him on here. Im sure he will be back in management quite soon, probably at Galway or Bray.

Its the west Belfast twang, not as bad as Roddy's strong Dublin accent. I think Roddy forgot to take off his plastering boots before coming on last night.

Is anyone else having problems with the quality of the stream off the website ,like the picture being blurry and also freezing while the audio continues. Another problem i have is that if i try to skip to a part it says error and shuts down. I have downloaded the latest version of the player and still no luck. Any help appreciated.

I'm having the same problem, getting sound but no picture. When I pause I get the freezed picture, but stays like that when I press play again.

Sounds like you guys have memory problems or too many processes going or a poor Internet connection. Try re-booting

Did he not also say that the squad was a lot fitter under Fenlon than Connor ever had them?
That seemed a very strange thing to say.

No chance! Connor is in the Roddy Collins club now, nobody would hire the little runt especially not us.

Yeh that sometimes happens and the screen goes black. Open the video in an external window, the realplayer window, not RTE's one that has chapters along the right hand side. Then right click the realplayer logo and click 'play in realplayer'. That should work, don't think it has anything to do with memory.
Alternatively, when you go onto the MNS site: http://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/mns/audiovideo_index.html
There is a screen there on the RHS. Press play and it should work fine without anything popping up.

No difference to me who bottom of the table clubs like yourselves and Sligo decide to put in as manager ;)

Emailed MNS offering explanation about the disallowed Drogs - Cobh goal - and got a pretty swift response back from Con Murphy himself.
Thanked me for the input - but he also told me that they will be doing a Goal of the Month competition on the show - which sounds good.

Anyone have the viewers ratings for MNS?
I would guess 175,000 which would be good for a start

I'd guess higher than that now...

I think the premiership has an average less than 200,000 so anything around that would be very impressive.

Just saw it last night when I downloaded it. I’ll post a clever way to download it rather than view it on-line later.
Good all round show as usual but a few things.
Thought your man from the star/sun/reporter guy was ferociously boring, wouldn’t have him there at all.
Liked Roddy for a change, wasn’t his annoying self and thought Richard Saddler was a breath of fresh air, young, vibrant and speaking out about football and not focusing on the negative.
Liked the snippets of the Irish underage scene too. Think this is important.
Only thing, what on earth was the ‘raiders of the lost archive’ about? Absolutely brutal. Making a joke of the league in past days me thinks?
Opinions anyone?

Must admit Pateen I thought that snippet for raiders of the lost archive was hilarious.Talk about an over eager defender.:)
Richard Sadlier was very good. His weekly column in the Sindo is refreshingly free from banal generalities.

There's supposed to be a bit following City fans on the train down afaik

Ah yes - Arkaga's fiendish plans for the creation of a Superclub in the Southwest
Champions League within 5 years is the aim - and they'll play in the colours of County Cork
