As an aside whose place is Sadlier going to take? Move Sheppard up top?
Dave Mulcahy is one of my favourite Pats players of the last few years. Serious man love for him.
Are these posts linked?
Mulcahy to re-sign for Cork and play up front?

Honestly if he re-signed for us that would really put a sour taste on this season for me. Have I mentioned how much I don't like him?!

Fletcher played with Roddy before at Athlone. he never made a league appearance but played in the LSC as far as I can remember for us but stand corrected.

I just seen that Ryan Swan has signed for Cabinteely from Exeter. Mad that, great signing for Cabo.

Not that mad; Pat Devlin involved no doubt.
Best of luck to him; had seen on the Exeter forum that he'd been quietly released around the end of the season.

Curran and Walsh left us yesterday due to work commitments. Glad the work commitments didn't keep them out of football for too long

Stephen Walsh was playing for Athlone Town tonight so that's a transfer
Are Longford still training in Leixlip?
They were still there as of two weeks ago anyway, couldn't see Fenn looking to move them mid-season. Good setup there and accessible for Dublin & Longford based players

Nothing to do with work commitments. Roddy called them up, they weren't in the Longford team and weeekt going to get in it, they asked for out and were shown the door. Walsh was decent for us best of luck to him but curran is the biggest waster ever.

Just what we needed - a leader in midfield. Hopefully we still have him next year. Rovers wanted him but would've had to leave a player go first so we (presumably Fenlon) swooped in.

Yeah, wouldn't have minded him for us. Still, we got Garvan and Brennan, who look like they might both work out, fingers crossed.

Not necessarily saying you're wrong but I don't think we were in the market for a midfielder. Replacement for Meenan and a good centre half are what's required.

That came from Keegan himself. Maybe he was bluffing us though :D

I refuse believe a member of Bohs' 2010 squad would bluff anyone :)

That's a brilliant signing for Waterford, he would have been one of the best players in the Premier Division nevermind the First Division
We won't talk about the inevitable future money problems that Waterford are going to have signing these types of players yet..#Fenlonball

All seems quite on the transfer front this month so far with only a few moves. Might see a few moves next week before deadline closes.

Jamie Doyle has left Bohs and re-signed for Shels.
http://www.extratime.ie/articles/19397/jamie-doyle-re-joins-shelbourne-after-leaving-bohemians/
Any know why he has left? He was a starter and playing well before the injury. And Bohs aren't blessed with numbers of attackers. Did he fall out with management or something?

Doyle impressed me when playing for UCD in the First Division a couple of years ago. A big strong lad with good ability, he really should have what it takes to be a decent Premier Division player. Surprised at that move.

He definitely has enough ability to play in the prem division. I thought he was impressive this season with Bohs before he got injured.

Was hoping wed take a look at him. Some signing for CABO. If they can keep that squad together for next year no reason they can't get play offs

Hes a nice guy. Hes not very good at football. He wants to be a great player, and he basically lives in the gym but the ability isn't there.

You may be right but he did appear to have enough ability to get Airtricity League Player of the Month not that long ago. https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/soccer/national-league/limerick-midfielder-ian-turner-named-airtricity-player-of-the-month-1.2424656

As I said in the Limerick forum, he's a decent crosser and freekick taker, but is too timid and doesn't actually work that many opportunities to cross. In a dominant team that are in full flow, he looks good, but there's no fight in him, and he's not even close to being as good as Conan Byrne. He can only play right wing and I don't really know why you signed him.

He played well in about 6-7 games in the run that nearly kept us up but on top of that there is probably only another 5-6 good games in all I think 60+ he has played for us.

Yeah it's a bit of a strange one, we're not short on wingers, can he play right back at all?

Sean Maguire has only won that award once. I take it with a grain of salt. They gave it to McEleney last month because he scored a couple of nice goals on tv. He vanished in the only important game they had. Anyone can play well for 2 or 3 games.
