Looks like it worked.
Watching Kenny waving his arms about last night it looked like someone else was controlling him :p
Then again maybe he was just waving for a taxi or it could have been the fact that Buttimer was driving everyone crazy :)

You're right, Kenny is cracking up, just like last year and the year before that!

Thought Buttimer was OK.... for Buttimer! Probably could have dished out a few more cards

The trouble with some is that they can't see when they're being wound up.
Caulfield plays the media and judging by some of the posts on here it's worked.
He's in their heads which is exactly what he wants 
Everyone is laughing at him.

He was hilarious at the AGM tonight anyway. His comments on Shamrock Rovers may be... eh exaggerated for the media shall we say.

Everyone is laughing at him.

Let's see who's laughing or crying at the end of the season 😥

If Cork win the league, well done to them, but again it won't be because Caulfield has got into anyone's head.

Whats the story Josh Mailey & Keith Cowan, they seem missing from last year

Keith Cowan is out injured for the season. I'd imagine he could well be signed in the hope he recovers miraculously before the season end, he was featured at the league launch in those cardboard cutouts of the players in the new jersey. It's highly unlikely he'll play any part this year though, as he has an operation in a few weeks and around 6 months of recovery after that.

Josh Mailey is in college in England since September. Flew over and back for the last couple of games last season. Would imagine he'll join up in the summer.

Might be wrong but, as he's unregistered, he can join at any point?

Yeah he can as far as I'm aware. He may well actually be registered too.

It'll be interesting to see how he gets on. He is a bit of a panic buy, but then again, so was Gartland for us a couple of years ago.

Hes not a panic buy at all. We're not paying a penny for him, and we're only gettng him because his club wanted to send him here. John doesn't think hes ready for the first team but thinks he might have potential with full time training. Very good chance hes back in Lithuania by mid season, no chance he is anywhere near the first team for the first six weeks at minimum unless we get a blast of injuries/suspensions.

Do you think he has a chance of making it ?

pineapple stu
22/02/2017, 6:19 AM
Don't know. Was excellent for the first half of 2015. But only scored 2 goals after Europe, and struggled for form last year too. Full-time training will help obviously, but it's not certain at all. That said, he has a chance of game time at Exeter I'd have thought, which has to be better than being in a development squad

It's amazing how people can jump to the wrong conclusion.

At least you have clarified that he is wojus and is likely to be sent back home by the time summer arrives

If McCourt couldn't handle part-time football with Glenavon, how will it be any better at Harps?

Full time with Harps afaik. Also, travelling up and down to Glenavon for training from Donegal is a bit of a nightmare. Half an hour gets him to Letterkenny from Fahan, two hours to Lurgan.

TBH in the one game I've seen him in I was relatively impressed. He absolutely blew Mark O'Sullivan away in the air which I hadn't seen anyone in the league do before. He was better than Ryan Delaney in that game, who, admittedly, is pretty poor from what I've seen so far.

Hold the back page

- Ryan Delaney is wojus, but Rim Sadauskas is better in the air than any other centre half in the league (except maybe Kenny Browne and Alan Bennett)

Can't see it either imo I think they will do what limerick did they got in some serious quality of players.
With no 2nd 3rd playoffs it's a disaster for yourselves UCD etc looking like a pointless season been honest.

Are you suggesting he wasn't sure of getting paid previously at Waterford or St Pats?

Should he be more nervous about getting paid in the season ahead?

I heard the Irish Sun has a very good spread tomorrow on the new signings Waterford made this season.
