its been a really poor season for both pike B and caherconlish,both had fine seasons last year with pike B looking likely winnerrs at one stage before falling away ,caherconlish recovered from a poor start to finish strongly and made last 32 of mjc,looks like one of them or hibs will make the drop though a playoff could happen yet.

Caherconlish 0-2 Knockainey is the result from last nights match. Big one for us against pike B left to play but you'd have to say a draw would probably be the best result for us Saturday or even a Pike B win that would keep Caherconlish still either 3 or 4 points behind us with only 2 games left to play and that's not including if we were to get something against Mungret. You would have to say if we got one win from our final 3 games it would more than likely be enough to keep us up

Its tough on loyal players but even tougher on the managment.. imagine how they feel after trusting these lads all year..im sure there was 4 or 5 b team lads who would have given better commitment

Always a risk when you have GAA players playing junior football. We have had a few lads come down to us in pre-season and when they have mentioned they have GAA as their number 1 choice when have told them they are probably better off not signing at all. You won't miss what you never had and 9 times out of 10 it comes back to haunt teams.

Jofspring even though i agree with what you are saying it is possible that a lot of clubs cannot afford to turn away players because of other commitments ?? Kilmallock struggles could impact on results now at bottom of league as both hibs & caherconlish but still to play them it would be a shame for either team to get relegated on the game depending on kilmallock have a strong / weak team out for these games .

We are in the same position we were in before the match, needing a win. Also Technically Pike can be brought to a play off with Caherconlish if both Hibs and Lish win there final game and Pike lose, unlikely but still possible

Shannon Town won't take anything off Moyross, Moyross and Knockainey promoted Ive seen bigger upsets happen then Shannon town beating Moyross, although Moyross would be favourites Shannon town wont lie down to any team, and as second stated could panic knowing they need something from the game to be promoted :)
