can see nothing other than a town win. Heart and passion go a fair way but when most of the hibs team are made up from their 'old' B team, the manager mess etc, it can only go one way.

Hahahaha I'd take that any day!!;) Will be a tight match no doubt though, no matter the quality of the squads I can't think of an occasion where either team has been over run over the last 4-5 years! Will be a good game and should be a decent crowd down with it being a half 6 kick off on a Saturday!

Not a bad game of football, good atmosphere & entertaining. town won comfortably in the end massive gap between both squads. credit to hibs, this bunch of players showed heart & desire to play for the shirt. I really hope that they stick with this group of players.

From what I heard the hibs team that played earlier on in the season is not there now so try and get the players back that would make the team some bit stronger.If the club gets relegated it'll only get worse!!

How can they get them back please explain ? What has changed with club that would bring them back a lot of them just stopped playing and a few others run off to other clubs when the going got tough

Are you seriously advocating that hibs management should run after the same players who got the club where they are now, 'rats deserting a sinking ship'. So what if the club get relegated, from what I seen the other night it will only be for 1 season. I would rather struggle in 1B than go running after those prima donnas.

Go begging players that walked away to come back? Ha ha thats what they want. They dont want to play leave them off. Rather get relegated with a group of lads with a bit of heart and interest that go asking any of them to come back

Shannon town won comfortably in the end and so they should have as they were up against a hibs team with 8 b team players in the starting 11 and 3 more on the subs bench. They tried there best but they were playing division 3a football only a few months ago.......its a big ask. There is probably only quirkey,jack kelly and maybe fred who would get in Shannon towns squad and there is at least 6 teams better than Shannon town in the division so it was always going to be tough to stay in division.And as Coolcat said it took a very good squad of players to win 1b under davy wall.

I heard it off a player who was in the team this season! Im not insinuating that its true im asking if anyone can tell me its true? as I was told Pa Tierney told Whelers and Philly Purcell that most of their playing time would be coming off the bence?

Yeah hopefully they do, caherconlish have 2 tough games next so hibs should stay up, thought the performance against Shannon town was good and the scoreline didn't reflect on the game, not a great game itself but only my opinion.

Heard they are going trying bringing in Moyes after he gets the sack at United:p No i think you are right, draw a line under what has been a bad two years for the club and try and get a few heads in for pre season. Staying up has to be the main priority though and with Town playing Caherconlish tomorrow hopefully they can do us a favour and beat them. Hope they show the same desire they showed against us and im sure they will!

im sure they will give it everything they have. You say they are looking to bring in a few head. I hope they and other clubs have learned from mistakes of the past and not just sign anyone who has a reputation of leaving after a few games. Also do you not think that questions should be asked about the people who are running the club .

You don't want to sign players who have a rep of leaving when the going gets tough but you also want to sign good players so there has to be a happy medium i think. As far as asking questions of the people running the club, maybe you have a point but at the same time when a host of players that are signed leave the club what are you suppose to do? You can't blame the people running the club for that!
