Read the post again,I said I didn't think he was capped, was that before he joined pike??

No The Bunster was capped in 2000/2001 season while with Newtown, he was with Waterford the year before and played with Limerick before that. So
it was maybe 4 or 5 years after he played with Pike.

Just going back on the post about Nabs being the most talanted player ever in the Clare League, altough he has been a very good player, Bunny has to be in first place for me as regards talant, also Colm Mounsey was a real class act, along with Sean Lindsey, the Collins brothers, and lets not forget Brendy O'Meara.

Oscar traynor team last night was
John Healy, Simon cuddy, David Russell, young lad from bridge, hogan(shan olympic), paul butler, jay o regan, pa(new player at lifford), Ryan boyle, Mikey mahoney and Colin Ryan.

Subs were Mattie Nugent, Gary Collins, Dean Gardiner, lunga balman, Tom White(bridge) and another lad from olympic.

Sorry about the names lads as I was Sick and just a spectator I didnt get a chance to talk to many of the lads. Few names that are to come in to that squad are Scott Hennessy, Eoin Glynn, Con Collins, few more mentioned aswell but cant remember now.

The game itself finished 1-1. Eoin o meara-daly scored a great free kick for tage early on and Gary collins got the equaliser late in the game

he was inch crusaders delegate at the agm, the committee appointed the management on the basis that it was the 2nd of a 2 year term, with donie garrihy being replaced by ryan.

What the league are doing with the Premier is stupid imo..2 relegated from 9 and a third place playoff...and also 2 games in 3 days for the tage.. unnecessary

1 relegated from 9 and 1 team in a playoff....

I think the league have definitely made the right call with the 9 team situation. On the other issue of games I know its not great but we had to play something like 13 games in 6 to 7 weeks last year.

Rover players?? i would argue that the reason why they folded is because they hadnt any players to field a team therefore there would be no players around to transfer?? :)

Allegedly rumour has it the NOF have benefited claiming the best of the Rover players with the rest seeking sanctity with 2nd division teams and newly promoted sides - looks like the newly named Newmarket Rovers will be the team to beat again this season

Who has signed with Newmarket?
The only ones that I think would strengthen them would be Stephen, Enda, Jocks and Jason Casey.
Have Newmarket reverted back to their original name, they were Newmarket Rovers before they became Newmarket Celtic.
Where have the rest gone?

Newmarket Rovers btw was the team formed prior to becoming the great club that is now Newmarket Celtic. Welcome home, it will be nice to see ye at the pitch on match days. ;)

Was worth a watch alright planners. 2-1 lifford it finished. Scott hennesy with both for lif in the first half, eoin hayes pen for newmarket with about 20 mins to go. Decent game

Good game last night. Lifford look well organised and were well up for the challenge which Newmarket weren't for the first half.

Some good players on show last night on both sides but in fairness if you can't play good football on that pitch you might as well forget it.

Looking at last night it should make for a good season for Lifford, they will be a very tough team to gain anything from. All good for Clare soccer in what should be a very competitive Premier league.

Let the fun begin and best of luck to all clubs for the coming season.

As for more joining, no would be the answer, Ronan lost the only pen we had. Funds are that tight.
