Why is it that things can never be straight forward in Peake Villa, They go from being on the crest of a wave one minute to being at the bottom of a swamp the next, They have some of the finest players in the county and deservedly won the league last season because of this. Other clubs would give their right arm to have those players at their disposal.

I spoke to a Borris player over the weekend; they are very excited and happy to be moving in the right direction for a change. He also informed me that Willie Mulcaire is the manager and Tommy Gaynor is doing the coaching and Noel Byrne isn’t involved at all.

So a big night awaits us in the TSDL, Last year’s top two Villa and Celtic will be hoping to bounce back from their first games and with both these sides playing each other this weekend one’s title hopes could be gone by the end of the first 3 games. All eyes will be on Town tonight to see how they cope with all their suspensions and injury’s, They will be expecting a much better start to the season this time round.
Predictions for tonight are a win for Saints, Villa, Celtic and Wilderness
Can someone please tell me why the league dished out all these stupid suspensions at the start of the season surely they could be given out throughout the season. Also why are Cashed and Wilderness down to play each other 2 games in a row surely they could have been spread apart.

Brilliant derby game in the complex, Town 4-2 Celtic, Celtic should have been out of sight by have time, a great hat trick from Barry Ryan punished them,a bicycle kick being the highlight of the 3,not so sure the celebration was needed though,Ian Clery got the other and was man of the match for me,incredible work rate

pure bitterness from celtic, all their talk about their super team and they cudnt even beat half a town team!
celtic were well able to celebrate their recent wins in the faces of town people especially after the cup final win in cahir
typical stuff from celtic to throw a water bottle at barry ryan while he celebrated, whoever did that has dragged the name of the club down! what a pity!

he is entitled to celebrate all he wants, after his second goal he ran on the track on the opposite side of the pitch!

COME ON THE TOWN, normal service resumed!!!

Quinlivan, Cleary and Comerford were excellent for Town, we are a better club without

My god your a bitter man. It's people like you that turn people against Clonmel town. If he was entitled to celebrate as he did, then why did he get booked? I'll be the first to admit that Celtic were terrible tonight, but Town were nothing special either. Neither team will go far if they continue like that.

The question is, how long can Saints hold onto this diamond of a player before a League of Ireland club comes sniffing along? He is one of the best players St. Michaels have had for the past couple of years, and came up through the ranks also. No one can catch him when he's on the run, he got man of the match again at the final of JD Cup two weeks ago, he scored 3 goals on the night.

The Wildie look good their to double your money, great start to the season and showed Tuesday night they can score goals. Tails will be up over their heads.

Unfortunately, Cashel could be heading for another defeat.

Saints at 3/10 is buying money

And I'd call the last one for Celtic

your tipping is getting better inside the rock almost 4/4 this week . what happened in peake clonmel celtic game who was the player injured, hopefully its nothing too serious,
Business as usual this week in tsdl with saints and town getting wins. Cashel and cahir must have played fairly okay to keep the big two to within a goal in there games, but both need to get points on the board soon . wildies 3 points again today there off to a flier anyone know is it one team going down this year or 2?

My tipping couldn't get worse balls :o

But to be fair, Cashel were absolutely robbed against Town. They had by far the better chances, but just couldn't convert, and Richie Ryan was savage in the Clonmel goal. And then what do Town do.. go up the other end and score a poxy goal from a corner with two minutes to go. Cashel really deserved something from the game, but that's the fine line between winners and losers. On that form though, if Cashel can keep plugging away, they'll start to pick up points. They just have to do it fast.

From what I heard of the Celtic/Peake game, apparently one of the Celtic players swallowed his tongue and went blue in the face. Really scary stuff and brings a lot of what we banter about here between each other into context. Screw Shankly, it's not a matter of life or death, especially when you are talking about amateur players who have to get on with the rest of their lives when the whistle blows. Hope everything is ok and the player involved makes a full recovery.

As for the Wildies, fair play to them. Lets be honest, how many thought they'd be heading straight back down again ? But, unbeaten after three, and top scorers in the league, they are on fire. And a start like that will only breed more confidence into them. They destroyed Cashel in midweek, and no team will fancy playing them at their place. And they'll really get their local crowd behind them when they play. Plus, contrary to what many might have thought, it's not a team of up and at 'em route one football, but clever fast skillful play that has got them to where they are. Well done. The game against Town on Wednesday could be a hothouse. I'd predict after seeing Town today, that they will get something from it.

That has to be one of the most horrific things that could happen on a pitch. I believe the actions of Alan Leahy helped Simon a lot.Best wishes to Scully and wishing him a speedy recovery. As Inside the Rock says above, it puts a lot of rivalry / banter into perspecive.

Yeah, reflected in the poor price for the draw at 11/4

Yes, fair play to Alan Leahy, he's being praised for his actions and rightly so. I think this incident also puts an onus now on all clubs to make sure that some of its members are capable of providing at least basic first aid in such situations. I think with Simon Scully's incident, even something as simple as putting him into the recovery position made a big difference.
