Nobody died and nobody made me king. That makes absolutely no sense cos I made no reference to death/kings.
So get your facts right ;)

in fairness they never got big crowds, when they had to beat us to win the league i had a spare ticket and could not sell the ticket to any drogs fans without a ticket in a ground that had a capacity of 1,800:eek:
Total nonsense there pal .And we got a massive crowd for the cup final we beat you in in lansdowne a couple of years ago , bigger crowd than yours wasnt it :D cue all the usual excuses about traveling distance etc:rolleyes:

my dads bigger than yours nonsense .Bigger crowd is bigger crowd regardless of distance .In that case lets drag up all the other reasons people dont bother there asre going to games in this country .The only thing that matters is bums on seats regardless of how far they have travelled. We are gonna bring a pretty big crowd up to oriel in a few wks ( by loi standards anyway) but by your logic it dosent matter because its only up the road .Nonsense

It'd be embarrasing for the club if ye didn't bring a big crowd.
It's like Dublin clubs bringing a crap crowd to another Dublin game, they should be bringing nearly the same as a home game, it's not that far away!

"There is no charge in for tonights game - Drogheda United V Irish Police /Gardai Selection.
The Irish Police / Gardai Selection are preparing for the European Police Championships in England later this year. "
I was wondering. The LSL side would surely have taken Drogs.

They weren't bad. Very fit and won't be intimidated by anybody. They flew with tackles on more than one occasion. They went close on two or three occasions but it was a poor game really, and a drab atmosphere

Bohs beat Shels 2-0 tonight.
Screamer from Graham Carey, second goal was Neale Fenn from close range.
Carey looked very good when he came on. should be good competition between him and brennan for that left midfield slot.

Magicme you left out another ex DUndlak player coming on for ye tonight, Steffen McKevitt came on with Ross Moran(Kyle Morans brother) with 10 mins to go, he played right bakc, thats where he played with us. But hes been playing with local side Bellurgan since he was released! Is he on trial with ye or what?
Also upon leaving the ground abig shot(looked like a chairman of some club, could be yours) went straight over ot Phil COulter and said "your lad didnt get on, you must be disappointe, whould he consider coming to us?" Coulter said "I duno, ill have to ask him" and called the young fella over as he was walking off the pitch. Any idea about this?

No that was a scout from some club in England (cant rem who and not that significant) He was asking me for team sheets earlier on.
There was no McKevitt on our team as far as I can make out and if he was then he is only on trial as was Ross Moran. I gave up on updating subs as they werent numbered on your team sheet and had totally lost the plot at that stage!

McKevitt came on with Moran with about 10 mins to go, he plays right back, thats where he slotted in when he came on. Interestring to not that a mate of mine noticed that both Moran and McKevitt where both wearing Newry town zip ups!

The reserve team which included Donati I think. Probably McCourt if he wasn't injured.

Oh right!
Yeah was hectic. That was my little sister I was training in at the bar.
As well as the photography, newsletters, barstaffing, I was doing web updates on here, our forum and yours!
Couldnt make it to our match against Drogheda today but I belive we won 1-0. Freeman scored for us and apparantley we were the stronger side for most of the game.

I have to say McGinn is not even close to McCourt's level from what I've seen of them in the reserves. It's way too early to judge but at the age he's at McGinn will have to be better than he's shown so far since he joined Celtic. McCourt though is certainly good enough and it's just a case of fitness with him. He's not even thinking about breaking into the first team until next season because of his fitness.
