O'Shea is a liability
O'Shea is a liability
Glen Johnson is very good going forward but a useless defender
Its really not that complicated!!!
You hit the nail on the head there Razor. He should just play as a right winger, that's all he does anyway. It'd be like when Duff was playing left back for Newcastle last season.
A testament to how much O'Shea has progressed.
Not a million years ago, that story would have been naturally deemed a p*ss take.
Quoting years at random since 1975
O Shea made himself first choice right back at United in last couple of seasons so I dont think its that much of a shock that another of the biggest clubs in the world are linked with him.Hes already proven he can cut it at the very highest level
Its really not that complicated!!!
Barcelona must be losing the plot is all that I say..... O'Shea is a lightweight and a liability in any side tbh.
Now now, everyone is entitled to their opinion, even Yapster. The main reason Ferguson wouldn't sell O'Shea I believe is because of his versatility. Not many players can slot in comfortably at full back, centre half or midfield. 3 players in one. Not a world beater in each of those positions but certainly up to Premiership and international standard, particularly at full back, although he did go walk about for the Italian goal at Croker.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
He is a sort of jack of all trades but master of none to Ferguson. His last campaign was his best in an Irish shirt but as I say he is still a liabilty at the best of times. Passing is ****e and caught out of position too many times.
He's seems too nervous a player to me.
He's never seemed nervous to me. Cautious, maybe, but it's not the same thing.
I see manU lost 3-1 to Everton, they are merely an average side without O'Shea.
You could almost say they're a liability.
He would have been more decisive than either Evans or Brown, who both had shockers.
