At 182 posts, Yapster really has to be the world's most elaborate troll. O'Shea was one of Ireland's most important players during the last qualifying campaign, and a first choice in United's League & Champion's League winning teams. If you'd said he was a liability maybe 4 or 5 years ago most people would probably have let it pass, but he's one of the best (and most consistent) players Ireland has at the moment.
Very, very far from a liability.
Did you just call Rooney a "fancy Dan"?
chill, I did say that o'Shea had his best best campaign just gone. He is a liability at the best of times, and as I said his passing is woeful most of the time. He is definatly a nervous player and will never be a player to take the game by the scruff of it's neck. His mistake against Italy at home was so pathetic to say the least. He missed a sitter against France in Paris also.
Are you telling me because a player misses a chance they are nervous in everything you do, te fact that he can go out in old trafford week in week out in front of 80 odd thousand people shows he has neves of steel, Duff missed a chance against france does make him a liabilty too, iv seen keane miss a chance or two suppose he is a liabilty. no offence but next you will start claiming thta glenn whellan is a liabilty because he took a shout against the Italian or Dicky dunne is a liabilty because he might have to dive into a tackle or too or because he might want to go up for corners or u might even try and say that PAUL MCSHANE is a Liabilty well o.k you might win that one.
I've mentioned the area's where o'Shea is a liability. The real United support think he is an accident waiting to happen. His miss against France was pitiful. Yes Duff & Keane missed sitters in that game though Keane is prone to that away, but they are better players than O'Shea. I did say he had an ok campaign overall but the man is far from accomplished in his overall game. Again I say he is a nervous player.
Funnily enough i've seen strikers fluff similar chances But well done on using examples of a defender failing to score twice from instinctive shots 5 years apart to criticize him
If Richard Dunne had missed the chance would you be calling him a liability or using it as an example of his faults?
Good thing we have Paul McShane to replace the liability Dunne![]()
Some good news on John O Shea, didnt expect to see him back this season at all

Its really not that complicated!!!
Well done to O 'Shea, a dedicated professional. We seriously missed him when he went off injured in Paris. We can do with his recovery continuing as such a pace and without added complications.
