Thats funny. Thought none of them carried cash though?
a friend of my brothers says he was in a pub a few weeks back in Dublin talking to this gaah head who was complaining about professional footballers and how useless and rubbish they are and massaging his ego generally being an ass.. john o Shea happened to be standing across the bar and overheard this..
Josh walked up to the man said hello then pulled out a 50 euro note, burnt it in front of the man saying ''when you can afford to do this come back to me'' and walked off! if true josh is a legend![]()

No Somos muchos pero estamos locos.
ah well i said it mightn't be true but sure it might be and as o'shea has been injured theres no reason why he would know him to say how he would act in situations? i understand the skepticism anywayhen and sure do any of us actuality be over and back here every now and t
Everything about it smacks urban myth.
We all know O'Shea wasn't raised by his Mammy to act like a gobs.
anyway hope he gats a few games in before the end of the season would be good to have JOSH fit for the friendlies to help bed in the new blood
Wasn't it Roy in the airport leaving South Korea![]()
No Somos muchos pero estamos locos.
Second time I've heard that story. First time was about 3 year ago, when it was set in a nightclub in Waterford and the guy who made the the comments was supposed to have been one of the Waterford Hurling team. Still just as unbelievable but the new lie is far less entertaining.
don't shoot the messenger![]()
Also heard the Drogba one about two years ago... Peddled to me by a sap who was trying to convince everybody that it happened to his best mate so it MUST be true.
When a story starts with "A friend of my brothers" or "my mate's mate" you know it's not true.
"Jacques Santini...will be greeted in every dugout of the country by "one-nil, one-nil" - Clive Tyldsley, 89th minute of France-England June 13, 2004.
"Ooooohhhh Nooooooo" Bobby Robson 91st minute.
I heard the same story about Charlie Nicholas when he played for Arsenal.
There is no such thing as a miracle cure, a free lunch or a humble opinion.
Any chance O'Shea plays on the weekend?
welcome back Josh.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
Didn't look even remotely fit.
