I'd be amazed if it was that high, barely loooked like 1000... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCw5jfDdmN0 and there's also pics of the Camac side...
Hmm. Big difference. Will wait see what Dodge thinks. Have updated all the others (were reasonably close with the guesses).

That sort of extrapulation just doesn't work though SB.
It doesn't take into accoiunt the fact that all clubs, and therefore the average, have a hardcore support below which the figures won't fall e.g. season ticket holders etc.
You can't just take a percentage drop from one year and extrapolate it into the next year as if all other things are equal.
I fully understand that and it was a calculation I done for a bit of fun (for want of a better word). Hence my last comment on the post you quoted.
There are so many factors this season that where not their last season. For example how much further is the Republics econonmy going to drop, how many more people are going to be out of work etc etc.
And then there is the more positive side where you have a smaller league which should mean more bigger games as some one else pointed out. (although in the long run, familiarity could be detrimental)
Obviously the economic factors are going to affect all leagues across Europe (and further a field) and it will be interesting to see how each league fares, especially leagues of comparable standard and size as the LOI, IL etc
The Hallion Battalion Molests football.:D
Official attendance at Cork vs Derry: 4,036.
320-370 at UCD-Waterford I'd say. Biggest crowd of the season without doubt. Glad the game was entertaining as hopefully we'll get people to come back.
Attendance at Fingal V Athlone was 762 tonight.
I estimate 1,000 at Terryland for Galway v Bray, very poor for a team thats going well and on a nice evening. About 25 away fans.
About 1100-1200 I'd say in Terryland. Not a bad atmosphere either, home crowd was really vocal
Nobody knows us, we don't care
I wasnt counted going in,others werent either and were just waved through with not even a glance at our season tickets.I thought there was approx 1000 but had heard a figure circa 1200.If it was 872 then its so dis-heartening for Leeson and the lads.
464 official attendance Wexford Youths v Mervue United
And Miles To Go Before We Sleep
A transient, horrible, fantastic dream,
Wherein is nothing yet all things do seem:
From which we're wakened by a friendly nudge
Of our bedfellow Death, and cry: "O fudge!"

Not trying to be rude but i have answered that question a thousand times.
We where doing promotions and concessions last year and getting 3 to 4 hundred average home crowds. Now we are getting 6 to 7. Nothing to write home about but its an improvement. Im pretty familiar with morton now and its not hard to see the crowds have improved. The stand holds 800 and was nearly full. alot stand down below as well so it wouldnt be hard to see there was 700+ regardless of counting tickets. Believe me we are not trying to pull a fast one. (shels fan im guessing)
