Link here mate: http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/data/method3/crank2009.html

Currently 32nd after moving up two places thanks to Drogs..

Well done Pats btw, always great to see an away win! Lets hope Cork can make it three in a row for the co-efficient :D

Decent result for Pat's - obviously in terms of the coefficient all that's needed is a win.

Already after these results the league will have it's highest ever coefficient.

There also appears to be a bit of a gap developing in the ranking behind us and we're now in a group of leagues such as Croatia, Slovenia, Finland, Latvia, Poland, Lithuania, Hungary and Bosnia.

Hopefully Cork can do the business too.

Cork 1-0 down...

Just worth noting that Flora Tallinn got a draw at Djurgardens in the UEFA Cup. Makes Drogs result look better.

Glens losing 1 nil.

TheBoss

I think that is a great result for Flora, I would think that Djurgardens were a bit wasteful.

And City beat Djurgardens. How relevant does that look right now?

It was 1-1 in the first leg and 0-0 in the return. They advanced, they didn't beat them.

The point was that city had done the same thing a couple of years ago. We beat them over 2 legs, drew in their place whatever. It's not that relevant now

You'd have thought Cork would have put up more of a fight against a team which stuggled to get past Rhyl in the same competition last season...

Really need another, would be a big mistake to take 2-2. Matthews must have got something badly wrong. All that leaps out from the teamsheet is that the midfield is a little unbalanced.

The LOI have got a good first leg start anyway this year. Your in a good position to possibly rack up the most points you've ever achieved in europe.

From a coefficient point of view maybe, from a results point of view Drogheda and Cork will be distant second favourites to go through.

Well all Drogheda have to do is not get beat. Any other result they are through.

Cork however will have to win.

If we started with some of fire in our bellies then could have had these guys out of sight. That lies on Mathews

i thought drogs were far superior to talinn last night and were just very unfortunate to leak an away goal, awful error from garts, i wouldnt be surprised if they went through.

regarding rte's "reports" of the saints match today on their website and errortel they may has well have just written "we wernt arsed sending anyone over to riga or making contact with any of the irish journos over there, please see saintsforum.net or foot.ie for match details". disgraceful really.

The football bit of the sports report on 6.1 led with Kevin Hunt - about two sentences, simply quoting the press release - then a long report on Aidan mcGeady signing a new deal for Celtic, with footage, and then a bare report of the Pats' result and that cork were playing later......*grinds teeth*

32nd rank vs 27th Rank, it will be a tough match for Cork. Highly experienced Finnish side against a hit and miss Cork side. Draw I wouls say. :)

Draw it is.

My guess is around 1.3 points this year for the league. Unless Drogs and Pats can make progress.

Mattews' dreadful european record continues

Terry

why do you think tonights result for cork was "dreadful"? Haka have had a good european run over the past couple of seasons for what I remember?
