Good call Mayo Red.
My second post below from that thread was nearly even more prophetic though!!;):D Typical Seamie, he hasn't changed anyways, it could nearly have described his performance at Goodison last weekend. The only thing is he made a hell of a lot more than one great run down the line against Spurs!!:)
The young lad that came on at right back for the last 10-15 minutes or so as far as I know. He looked a bit lost when he first came on, but he soon got into it and wasn't afraid to get stuck in, made one great run down the line!

It was Willie McStay who first informed his old mate, Moysie, about our future international.

I've passed on your advice to Moysie and he says thanks. Says he doesn't know how he'd manage without you.
Report from yesterday's game......
But inspired by Moyes' half-time warning that he would be disappointed if his side only ended up with a point, Everton returned in determined fashion and went close through Marouane Fellaini and Saha as the home side dropped ever deeper in an attempt to preserve their lead.
They finally claimed their reward with five minutes remaining when Fellaini controlled Tony Hibbert's cross and blasted a shot into the roof of the net.

I do not think we should be too surprized if we see Shamie Coleman going out on loan, if I was the manager I would consider it. Reason being that it he is unlikely to get a game until injuries force Everton to bring Shamie on. The manager is under pressure to move the team up the league and he will not take chances with unproven players in the Premiership. From Colemans point of view he is learning nothing new from a playing point of view and a period with a Championship side would help him to sharpen his skill and match fitness. If he came on for Everton now, he would be very short of match fitness but I have not doubt having seen all the games he has played including reserves, he will be in the first team later this year.

A couple of penalty shouts ensued before Pienaar's shot was deflected wide and David Moyes switched Tony Hibbert for Seamus Coleman.
The full-back had only been on a couple of minutes when he provided the cross that Cahill despatched at the second attempt with nine minutes left to play.

Hibbert strained his groin, hopefully he doesn't recover and Seamie might get a game against Arsenal:).

David Moyes needed to shake things up. With Jo suspended and Osman and Saha injured his options, in terms of experienced attacking players on the bench were limited, so when Seamus Coleman was introduced for the injured Hibbert on eighty minutes it seemed too much to expect the young Irishman to have any impact. How wrong we were. On the pitch for barely two minutes he forced his way past the admirable Robson beat two other players and surged into the box. He then dinked a lovely cross onto Bilyaletdinov’s head, he nodded down to Cahill, whose first shot was blocked but he dug out the rebound to fire home left footed from close range.
Above an extract from the full match report, our Shamie is becoming a cult hero at Everton and rightly so.

Everton v Man. City To Score in 90mins: Coleman, S. 20/1
Everton full-back Tony Hibbert will be out for around four weeks as he prepares for a hernia operation.
The news is a blow to manager David Moyes, who on Thursday sold fellow right-back Lucas Neill to Galatasaray, leaving him short on that flank.
Hibbert will undergo surgery on Saturday while his team-mates host in-form Manchester City in the day's evening fixture.
"Tony Hibbert has to have a hernia operation which is a blow to us," Moyes told the club's official website.
"We are getting a little bit better in terms of injuries but you can take two steps forward and one step back at times.
"Tony will have an operation on Saturday," Moyes added. "That will probably rule him out for around four weeks.
"But hopefully everybody else who was available last week will be available again for the Manchester City game."
Hibbert, 28, has not featured for Everton since being withdrawn during the 3-1 FA Cup win over Carlisle at the start the month.
His replacement that day, Irish prospect Seamus Coleman, may now be forced to step into the first team with the experienced Neill having left the club.

So maybe he is going to Bohs on loan.
The only thing about that is the Bohs fans reckon he wouldnt get into their team.
Maybe a first division team might give him a run out.

Good point but in fairness Rovers got one of our very best ever footballers from Everton through Notts county!

Was 50 grand the figure? Were there no add ons for appearances? Add ons would be key.
