Ok, im retracting my view, this is still a teenager I FORGOT he is still a kid, you are correct, FOR MANY reasons im against of bulking up players anyway specially forwards where speed and tricks are on demand, he has a good chemistry with ALEXIS MACALLISTER, good touches from the kid, and his best assets is from what I saw before are his quick skinny legs and swift movements on the ball when he turns and lead the attack face up vs defenders, maybe he has been overtrained by the coach and seemed fatigued and tired in that weariness

yeah he is a teen I FORGOT , if MacALLISTER moves he has to take this kid with him because their chemistry and football understanding between them is what made BRIGHTON in a EUROPE spot so far

Did ok when he came on late vs Palace, Welbeck not great. I’ve been very unimpressed with Enciso since he’s got his senior chance. Disappointing not to see Moran getting an earnest chance considering he’s a year older. Moran 20 later this year with no senior football of note under his belt and unlikely to see any this season. It’s a bit worrying

His difficulty is similar to all little play makers you have to bring goals and assists to make up for the physical limitations you have. Bryne and crowley unfortunately so far have not been able to do enough of either to overcome their physical deficits hopefully moran can

Frank Stapleton is alive, is alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ditto this , doesnt Ferguson just looks like exactly as Bizarrap, the famous dj? Put him on a black cap BZRP on it , and big sunglasses on him, they are the same guy!!!, Could it be Evan Ferguson and Ramos Mejia's wonderkid Gonzalo Julian Conde are the same person afterall ? Lets ask Jimmy Fallon, Shakira, the session 53 Gerry Piqué, and Alexis MacAllister.

Another great finish. Left foot. Awful defending but still, he seems really calm in those positions in the box.

good football understanding and chemistry between young MacAllister and this irish 9, Ferguson, his first goal is like a Stockton and Malone pick and roll from Utah Jazz, amazing pass and a Stapleton´s finishing. Frank Stapleton is alive, is aliveeeeeeee!!!!!

That's a little better than good. The take out of air, control with his other foot and calm finish, absolutely brilliant.

Do Bohs have a sell-on? Even 10% of what Ferguson may go for would be game changing money in the League of Ireland.

I'll be shocked if the big clubs don't make bids this summer. United, Arsenal and Chelsea need a #9, even small clubs like Spurs will be after him

Will Latvia's defence be much better I wonder?
Beaut of a goal though. Not sure at what stage does he move from being a prospect to being established, but tis great to see him back on the mark again

Read a stat yesterday that he has either a goal or assist every 70 mins. The defending yesterday might not have been great but the defending was irrelevant for the control and finish on the 1st goal. He has already become 1st choice for Brighton ahead of Welbeck, I know Welbeck started last week but I think that was giving Ferguson a rest based on him starting in a number of previous games.
I think he is still a prospect because we only have a few months of him in 1st team yet, but he is one of the hottest prospects in world football at this stage.

I asked a group of Euro football nuts - about 30 of them - to name some of the worlds foremost teenage strikers. 5 replies, 3 of whom were in the Belgian league and two South Americans (one of which had just turned 20). He's in pretty rare company.

Of all the top striker prospects in world football right now is he doing it at the highest level? Gavi at Barcelona would be ahead of him obviously but hes probably more a 10. Fati has just turned 20. There are lads here more attuned to world football than I am, but theres no one else that jumps out to me.

I think just a few minutes off the bench against Latvia would be enough, especially after the short turnaround from the cup game - it will keep the crowd happy and means that him playing against France fully ties him to us (not that he's going anywhere, but it would be a welcome end to a couple of months of unhelpful speculation and "he's eligible for England" tabloid click bait nonsense).

I'd play him for 60 mins. I'd look to play most of the French starting XI against Latvia but I'd start making changes on 55/60 mins to get a look at the potential disrupters like Sykes or Johnstone. I hate how late Kenny leaves his changes. One thing I love about Postecoglou at Celtic is how in every game he makes material changes, usually in midfield, with plenty of time to go.
I know playing key guys is a risk but our squad is too thin not to.

Moukoko is the guy - younger than Ferguson too

Agree he should start v Latvia. Ideally a lot of the team v. France will do so. I think it's easy to forget how poor the team performed in some fixtures last year, so any chance to get some momentum and flow going within the group is worth it. Plus, there's plenty of recovery time before France.
The only starter against France I wouldn't start against Latvia is Obafemi. He's gotten injured in two of the three squads he's been called into. Ideally I'd like to see Ogbene and Parrott given a half each to see how Ferguson gets on playing next to two different style forwards.

I was furious about this in the Norway game, they had already made substitutions in the second half before ours had started warming up!

Doesn't make their top nine though, which are:
Arda Guler (Fenerbahce/Turkey)
Mohamed-Ali Cho (Real Sociedad/France)
Endrick (Palmeiras/Brazil)
Gavi (Barcelona/Spain)
Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United/Argentina)
Romeo Lavia (Southampton/Belgium)
Youssoufa Moukoko (Borussia Dortmund/Germany)
Mathys Tel (Bayern Munich/France)
Warren Zaire-Emery (Paris Saint-Germain/France)
Might be interesting to keep an eye on how he progresses compared to those nine.

There's always a bias towards the bigger countries in these lists. When Ferguson went over to Brighton it was obvious from the off that he was the star of their youth setup. But when the Guardian did their next gen thing where they pick the best prospect from an age grade for each Premier League club, they picked an English kid called Jack Hinshelwood as the best prospect from Brighton instead of Ferguson. He still hasn't kicked a ball for their senior team I don't think. But then the Guardian's success rate with their next gen lists is laughably poor.

Daire O'Connor got sent off for Ayr a couple of weeks ago. For some reason his name came up on the vidiprinter with the Irish spelling of O'Connor (O'Conchobhair). Stelling just decided to not bother trying to pronounce it.
