Just keep the head down and stay focussed. ;)

I repeat it hasn't. The only other long threads have had countless mergers, which is the thread equivalent of doping. This is the only clean thread in a competition of dirtyness and scottishness.

don't see why not .

o connor, dillon, ferguson & paisley looked the part last night.(v crumlin utd).
after the cobwebs were blown away they appeared to gel pretty well together.
sean dillon caused havoc going down the right wing and crossing the ball over in fact one of his crosses ended up with keego tapping in from 4 yards and an earlier cross/shot went straight in. :)

I was just thinking about that last night.....
I reckon this seasons back four will be our strongest ever....
My preferred back 4 would be..
Dillo, Baz, Danny, Prunty.
Any thoughts?

just put paiso instead of prunty and push him (prunty) up to midfield (just like it is at the mo :) )

Yeah, I suppose. I prefer Prunty at let full though instead of Paiso

This is particularly thorny question now. Who out of Baz, Paiso and O'Connor would you leave outta da middle. As for full backs, Dillo must start - but at left or right full?
If everyone is fit and suspension free it'll be some battle for starting places.
well I haven't even seen the town this pre-season yet but here's my shout
Dillon, Ferguson, O'Connor, Paisley
We haven't a better left winger than Prunty....

You reckon you could give us a stint at the back? We're not looking so hot right now in that department

I'll be expecting a changed back four for our next game. Paisley will come in and O'Connor will lose out I'd say.

Yeah. Big loss. I'd hope Dillo' might slot in, dropping Prunts to left back.
this mammoth still going then?! :D

Most likely will be what Matthews goes for. We'll have nobody to step in and equalise if we go down 1-0 though.

Tis, although it's swinging back on topic so dont be getting any ideas.

jabus, as a newcomer to foot.ie, i was a little unprepared for this thread! just spent 3 hours reading it from the start!!! for anyone who cares, or knows, heres a few questions that come to mind:
1. who has the most posts on this thread
2. who are the top five posters and what do they do for a living?
3. are there any vacancies at these respective places of employment
4. what exactly is the topic on this thread??

I see the football questions thread is closing fast.
In my considered opinion, you just can't beat a pint bottle of bulmers with a pint glass of ice? I don't know how people can drink anything else. Anyone else have an opinions?

On a warm day, perhaps even after a game of 5-a-side, your only man is a pint of mi-wadi orange with ice. Down the first half, sip the rest.
You can't count, an albeit refreshing, cordial when the discussion is about alcoholic beverages....

i'd hardly call bulmers a beverage :D
definition of beverage - "noun: any liquid suitable for drinking"
So I would. :D

Do you know, i think there's a good chance that the C&C group make both bulmers and mi-wadi.
Amazing

You know the way Bulmers is Magners in the north, is mi-wadi still mi-wadi there?

Without basing my answer on any semblance of fact, i'd say yes, yes it is.
But does it taste the same? Magners isn't as nice as Bulmers.... I blame the water, that's used for the ice. Is fluoridation in operation up there?

magners is the original name.bulmers is the "wrong" name,if there is one.
