wembley 3 balla 2.. congrats to wembley on getting promoted! good hard fought game by both teams, as for the ref at least he was chronic for both teams!

I can not agree more, the ref last night was the worst i have ever seen.I never go on and give out about refs but last night this guy was a disgrace and if you were at this match 12th Man you would totally agree. Not taking anything from Balla B they played very well which i heard one of them say it was the best they played all year.We had 3 blatant penalties turned down and when the last one was not awarded Balla went up the field and their center forward fell over the ball and was given a penalty and was seen laughing at the decission cause he couldnt believe it either. That brought the game to 3 2 which made it Squeeky Bum time for the last 10 mintues. Best of Luck to Balla for the rest of their games after playing like that last night i dont understand why ye are down in the bottom 2.

Excellent game this.Wembley the best team i have seen in this division and i think with the addition of a few players will equip themselves well in premier next year.Thought there 2 central midfielders were very good and also thought Fairviews 2 center backs were excellent on the day.

I have to agree there. In our last two games (Hibs) weve had men taken down in the first 10 minutes last man and no red card was given. I'm not trying to get players sent off but rules are rules. I asked the referee why it wasnt a red card and he said "it wasnt last man, the keeper was the last man.":confused: I can honestly say I think the majority of players would know the rules better than than some of the referees.

Ya balla very unlucky. Were 2 nil up on penaltys and managed to throw it away. In the extra time they went 1 up in the first half and 5 mins left dines scored.

Ya 2 all, same old story. Caherdavin seem to be our bogey team just cant seem to beat them, saying that we just didnt play well at all and against ten men aswell in the second half.
We were 2 1 up and a goalkeeping mistake from the free kick and a missed penalty cost us..2 games left and 2 points ahead, we need to improve by 110% if we have any notions of winning this league.

Think it was a bit of reverse psychology, of course Summerville are still in the title race.............if they win tomorrow the pressure is back on Wembley,

As regards the relegation run in.........The Prospect v Wembley game will have a major say in who gets relegated, and will also depend when they meet......(if they meet and Wembley have nothing to play for, then it would be very interesting, not suggesting that Wembley wouldnt try, but if there was nothing to play for from their side, then guys may not try and get off work or college ect, and therefore weakening the side).


That said, I still stick with my original early season prediction of Wembley & Summerville for promotion and Boro "B" & Balla "B" for relegation

Sickened we didnt get a draw today at least. 2 down after ten minutes. 1st goal we were asleep at the back. 2nd goal a total fluke, shot going well wide, took a deflection and went in off our defender, would have to go down as an o.g. Then we got a penalty before half time when our striker was absolutely clattered by the summerville keeper and he had to go off injured, our top scorer, huge loss. Scored peno. 2-1 at half time to summerville.

2nd half we controlled the game and should've got the equaliser, missed some easy chances. We got caught on the break a couple of times, one incident was particularly funny when the sville striker had an open goal and actually kicked the ball off my head as i was lying on the goal line, ball hit the post and he then put the ball wide! Seemed easier to score. Nobody can say we didn't try anyway today, prob one of our best performances of the season

What can I report on?? We were chronic. In the end it mattered to ye and it showed. Between injuries, suspensions and never once having the same 11 we have had a season to forget. So ya, we could not wait to get out of there. Roll on pre-season.
