Our pitch wasn't playable last week, I can't see it being any better this week. Hows the pitch in Snugboro?

Would probably be deemed Ok but a game would ruin it id say

Bit of a shame the draw for the McDonnell Cup was done before Ballina town b pulled out.
4 teams are battling for one semi-final slot, while Charlestown are straight into the semis!!
I suppose thats the luck of the draw.
Are the other games going ahead today?

moyvilla 6-1 claremorris b. shocking display from cmorris, moyvilla were well organised and had 2 quick lads up front (no 10- good player with excellent touch and control) they should have won 10 or 11-1.:(

It might have looked ok but a game would have cut it up badly. Did you miss the heavy rain or somthing? NO rules saying it has to revert to other teams pitch! sorry you missed out on your wages

Were many matches called off at the weekend? Even in other divisions. Glencorrib was unusually wet the last two weeks. Never really got a chance to fully dry out this year.

dats a very stupid comment yellow monkey considering we beat u dis season.conn rangers have evry chance of making the final.moy villa look favourites in the other half

I dont mean to sound patronizing purple but they are far too strong for anyone this year. They will win league and cup. Id put money on it!!

Thanks for the confidence boost yellow monkey, but are you forgetting that there is only 3 games gone so far and the league is a marathon not a sprint? We have a decent squad assembled but every team in this division is capable of taking points off each other. I think it is unfair to put Charlestown in the McDonnell cup final, Conn Rangers are a tough team and we will not be taking anything for granted in any competition. Not one person on this forum even mentioned us in any thread for sucess in this division, so we will try to go about the season one game at a time and see what happens. Actually I think the Boro were well fancied to progress in this division:eek:

It could be 1st round fixture between Castlebar Town and Ballina Town 'B' I think, Both teams have withdrawn from the league. Funny how they were drawn against each other and both withdrew. But i think thats where the mystery is.

Cross 3 Swinford B 0, match played in Moyne Villas ground as Glencorrib is in a really bad state. Moyne Villas ground in Headford is a really excellent facility and a lovely pitch. Cross finally get some points on the board, but a very tough match nonetheless.

claremorris b 3-6 moy villa. cmorris could have got something out of this, they led twice in the first half (1-nil, 2-1) but silly defending cost them. moy villa did'nt panic though and deserved the win. villa no 10 on fire again this week.
