Kennedy Park 2 Summerville 1

Watched the game this morning, dire first half that summerville controlled without having many chances, they scored after 20mins sloppy defending and goalkeeping gave the striker a tap in.
Park made a few changes in the second half and pushed for the equliser and got it through a screamer from a sub??think he also scored the second ..Park just about deserved it

Huge result for Kp very poor game of football summerville had a second goal disallowed ball hit centre half in the face and ball went into the net ref gave a free out love to hear the refs explanation for that:confused: but on the whole i think a draw would have been a fair result Kp put summerville under presure for the las 30 mins but i dont think either team deserved to loose a great battle and no dirt two teams played hard but fair. With pallas winning league is shaping up nicely

Excellent win for Kennedy Park on sunday. must beat hospital to stay in touch. Pallas starting to pull away now, something disastrous would have to happen for them not to get promoted.

anyone get the draw for the 2A Cup? think it was made last night

any report from the kennedy park v hospital game?

KP 2 Hospital 2

Poor first half with nothing in it Hospital took the lead on 20mins with Park hitting back just before halftime through Frank Cronin,
Second half we dominated and missed 3-4 good chances, Hostpital then scored on 80 mins when our keeper came out 20 at the corner of the box and kicked the ball of the forward the ball flew into the air and somehow curled into the net, we hit back straight away from Gerry Nash and then both teams just went for it and either could of got a winner.

Lads, halfway through the season. Do you expect the table to change much? Personally, can't see anybody challenge the top 2 but Hyde beat St Pats yesterday and they usually finish very strong so you'd never know. Strange to see Athlunkard down towards the bottom at this stage.

i think we will win by the odd goal in 3....when we played them in the 1st game of the season it was only our 2nd game as a team playing together and we got a draw out there...here's hoping we can get the win...

halfway through the season and it's been a season to forget so far for Athlunkard! roll on the cup!!! still think pallas and summerville will go up and hyde and abbey will go down. if we get any bit of good weather in the spring it'll only increase pallas and summerville's chances as they play the ball on the ground

jesus kennedy park would want to win all their remaining matches in that case? pallas are on 30 points, 11 ahead of kennedy park, that's too much ground to make up. hospital are playing well but are more beatable than pallas and summerville

They were a lot futher back on Pallas last year and lost by a point so theres a long way to go yet,Ville to win it and Kp second!

the whole gaa thing has not been a real issue in hospital soccer club for a number of years now. think pallas will have greater problems in that area.(we hope):p. as for our cabbage patch dont think too many pitches have held up that well with all the bad weather..

I would have to say pallas are huge favourites to win the league and other than that Kp ville and hospital to battle it out for 2nd Kp beating ville 2 weeks ago was a huge result and hospital are not too far off the pace if I had to pick 2 teams id say s'ville and pallas up hyde and abbey down

yeah better attitude from the lads this year as they know they are capable of doing well but with a little encouragement they have put themselves in with a chance of promotion and if pallas slip up, who knows. Seems as if our little patch is not the only one effected by the weather. summerville pitch unplayable for match against hospital tomorrow. any other matches cancelled.
