Hoolickin went to Barrow so I was wrong there though. You've got a good player in Boyd and I'm sad to see him go. He scored the best goal I have ever seen live at Burton, 35 yard piledriver. Classic

We have not as of yet signed McCarthy and am not sure that we will be either. I know there were discussions but nothing agreed.

Was he about to sign with Rovers?

Why did the deal fall apart?

I think he would be an excellent signing. Was impressed with him the last time Shels played in the Showgies. Can't see it happening though, wages and travel would be a problem.
