i wouldnt brwak the bank for him as we are not too badly of in central midfield position(curran,boyd,ogrady, hughes). we badly need 2 strikers and 1 centre back, especially as peerss suffering.

if you read back you would realise he was asking Gus why he didnt want moore at the club, thinking it might be due to his age. dont see the point in slating him over that

He may be past his best but I think Alan Moore is definitely the type of player we need at the Showgrounds. Considering the way Cook has the boys playing, passing to feet, one two's around the box, Moore would suit our style.

No he isnt. he will get you about 8 goals a season.
8 goals is all Mansaram got us last season so if we were happy enough with his a/c then same should be for McT. Always gave his all on the pitch too which can't be said for Mansaram.

yes but im fairly sure that mctiernan played more games and it with Manserams first year in Irish football
it's easy to comment like that in hindsight. I never thought Mansaram was holding back. towards the end he cud be criticised for how he left but at the time he was here I'd no qualms with his effort. Ur right about McT - always gave his all. Dont think his mind was on the job for a while. He was still our best goal getter since Moran - think McT clocked somewhere just over/under 50 goals during his time. Think Moran was on 60 plus with alot more games played (i think).
