one thing i must say is that its very unfair on other teams like waterford and dundalk who have been working their arses off to get their houses in order over the last 5 years, in my view i think shels should be kicked into the 1st division and waterford put back in the premier.

It gets better every day in or out up or down , who knows but if I had to guess it will be a hat trick on Monday morning Drum , Home Farm and now Shels GONE .

its a disgrace that the rules have been broken consistently for shels - yet limerick get the chop instantanaeously
the league licencing is now in question - one rule for them another for us etc.

Am hearing Shels docked 10 points, in premier. Nothing confirmed or official but its kinda what I have been expecting to happen for a few weeks now.
Would be a shambles if its true. At the very least they should be fukked out of Europe, relegated and stripped of the title, then start in the First on -20 and allowed to die slowly in the graveyard division.

The FAI are only running the league a while. For teams going into administration in England or Scotland its a point deduction, so I fail to see why that should not happen here.
Now as regards what happens if (when) they are found guilty on last year's shenanigans then surley they cannot be champions.
As for the FAI and the national team
I paid to see the Drogs when we were bottom of the first division and going nowhere (with a hundred mile round trip). If you move away form domestic soccer because Shels are not relegated then you should take a look at yourself or **** off back to the barstoolers.

If shels arent relegated then the new eircom league is f***ed before it starts.Limerick get thrown out over a pittance and Shels owe €12m wheres the justice in that. There has to be some form of protest at the FAI or Croke Park.

Barstooler = a person who follows the premiership or scottish league and criticises the LOI and refuses to follow ther local team

ah please not again there was a process that did not involve winning our coming second in the league. i did not agree with the process but the clubs did so this is not the blame of the fai . but if they fudge this then they will never regain any credability

From what I believe, Shelbourne didn't submit false accounts. They gave it straight. They submitted their agreement with the Revenue. They submitted their agreement with the Players Association. The fact that their revenue stream ( Ozzie K ) decided to play hard ball has left them in a no win situation. They are now unable to honour those agreements. Shelbourne have no choice but to sell off their only asset. The reason for the 24 hour extension is probably so that the legalities can be finalised.
