Congratulations to all involved. Finally, some real action by large number of people over a decent period of time - this is a fine result. Great to see senior football continue in the city.

Limerick 37 has been awarded an eircom League First Division Licence for the 2007 season by the FAI's First Instance Committee following a successful application.
Their licence will be formally ratified by the First Instance Committee at their next meeting on 19 February.
Limerick 37's successful application means that 22 clubs are now licensed to take part in the Eircom League of Ireland this season.
Eircom League of Ireland Director Fran Gavin said: 'We are delighted that there will be an ongoing senior soccer presence in Limerick. Those involved with Limerick 37 represent all strands of the game so there will be plenty of interaction between the club and the rest of the football community in the Limerick area.'
Congratulations to all involved. Finally, some real action by large number of people over a decent period of time - this is a fine result. Great to see senior football continue in the city.

Comhairdeachas Luimneach.
Can we assume that all football people in Limerick will now get on board with this new entity, ie those who supported Limerick Utd (70`s) City (80`s) and FC (90`s) is there a split anywhere in the city, geographical or otherwise.
Would be shame for eg if those who were in with Danny Drew & Co wouldn`t now support 37.
Where is the home ground ?
Anyway hope it works out for them, welcome to the lge .
Lookin forward to Wexford Youths v Limerick 37, most original names in the league if nothing else...
