I've a two part rebuttal to this nonsense.
1) It's completely untrue.
2) The incident to which you are referring was actually instigated by a group of ~20 Cork fans who came the entire length of the ground to start a row.
Stop trying to excuse your club's despicable treatment of paying customers.
Note to developer, install extra toilets in new Finn Park......
Foundation work being done this week in the new Finn Park. Finally, some structural work isn't far away.

Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is taking so long with Finn Harps' new stadium? I'm sure I read somewhere that funding was already in place, so why the 2/3 year delay?
Basically the delay has been due to the grinding pace of Irish bureaucracy and the complication inherent in a project involving a large number of stakeholders.

1)Im not saying there is decent facilities behind the St. Annes now but that there should be, should not bee too hard to do it other than the actual cost. There could have been a few more portaloo's rented when a large crowd was expected but there wasn't and that can be fixed for future games.
2)Yes there was city fans involved too but i dont wanna get into what happened like 8 or 9 years ago, what i am saying is that, away fans are segregated more since that incident. At least there was no trouble in the ground on Friday due to the large segregation and there was enough seats for your fans Friday night. I even seen empty seats in the front corner on MNS. Rovers fans are just whingers.
Permanent toilet facilities and maybe permanent food facilities behind the St. Annes will be in the next stage of development in Turners Cross but funding for it will be hard to get till then Portaloo's will have to do but we will try to rent more when we are expecting a big away crowd. but according to http://www.centraltoilethire.co.uk/e...lets/index.php 3 or 4 portaloo's would have done.

LOI people always complain about toilets and load's of other things about the "away side".Notes: If alcoholic beverages are served, increase the number of units by 13%. If the percentage of women in attendance increases beyond 50%, increase the number of units by that same percentage.
More especially when the fancied away side fall to an away loss or draw, then the exaggeration of the fact's are multiplied by 10,000%.
Pass no remarks is my call and i'm hardly a lover of the great shlop that they call Sham's.

That incident did not change the segregation procedures for away fans because we were housed in the main stand the next time we were down there. You can waffle all you want, and cite all the dodgy sources you want, 2 portaloos for 500 people is inhuman, and people missed large portions of the game because of the queues.
That's because Oriel is a dilapidated, stone age kip that's unfit for housing rats let alone football fans.LOI people always complain about toilets and load's of other things about the "away side"
As far as I can see only 2 city fans responded, with 1 agreeing with the original point.........all of the Harps fans are the same.........see what I mean!?
On the topic, yes it's a disgrace, but this is where we are. The plans are to put toilet facilities at the back of the stand and the frame is in place. It is something we need to look at, but the only improvement I can suggest short-term is more portaloo's. But yes, we need to find a definite solution.
