Not very well though, as we've seen; outlying data is a major problem with averages and that's why standard deviation exists.

To put it in context, Cork's crowds against Bohs, Bray (twice), Cobh, Pat's, Sligo and UCD (twice) were all higher than yours. They had the highest crowd in the three games involving yourselves, and the highest crowd in games against Drogheda. Derry only had higher crowds against Harps twice (the outlier which is distorting the average), Galway and Rovers. Add to that the fact that Cork's attendances are official and yours aren't and are probably overstated (as with most guesstimates), then your claim that Cork have "been getting 10% less than City all season" is simply wrong.

    Overall average - 1,217 (1,235; 1,070; 1,195; 1,218)

FD is an average crowd in the First Division; PD is an average crowd in the Premier Division. I've only put that in where the attendances was when the club was in a different one to their current division.

theres some first div clubs in there lads and no matter how many times ive seen them you could go to 3/4 games add their totals and still not make their averages. I think our attendences are bigger now this year then last as our figures last year were dubious.

On the Cork Derry point(while it matters little). Lets not forget our attendances are the official ones. Our estimations last season were definitely higher than the official attendances we've been seeing this year. Id imagine the same would be true in Derry

e.g. The cup quarter final poeple were claiming 2500 ish when in fact tehre were 1800 people in the gate in the Brandywell

But they were official attendances last year too

Premier Division average is up a good bit which is the main thing.

Expect Limerick's attendance to rise dramatically next season

800-odd at UCD-Galway apparently. Haven't gotten an official figure yet.

Good crowd from Galway; plenty of UCD supporters too (mainly freebies, probably).

About 1100 in Finn park last night, prob 500 more paid in but filled the surrounding pubs around half time to keep an eye on UCD - Galway game. Great Rovers support around 100 + up.

I'd say approx 700 at Ferrycarrig Park last night but that went down to 699 when 'Elvis left the building'

Absolute ****, but he has promised to come back and see us next year.
