any replacements lined up for dermot finnan yet... probally on the cards due to terrible start to season and last few results .. who knows sometimes a new manager can kickstart the team

its the players that play the game and stops with them alone. dont think it matters about who new manager is going to be we need to buck up and start putting teams away and beliving in our selfs more as i said theres some amazing players out here and they will come good. remember this season we have two teams being brought together to play as one so it will happen
There's no such thing as luck. Victories for the underdog are an aberration on the order of the universe - which is why I've had damn few loses in my time

Aisling were 3 up at half time, then it went 3-1, then 4-1 then 4-2 and finished 5-2. Good clean game, was impressed with the way you play.

    Talking Too easy......

It was the easiest game I ever was apart of, I think the closest Holycross came to forcing the keeper to make a save was a shot from 40 yards that rolled into his hands. I was talking to him afterwards and he said the hardest thing about the game was the warm-up. I don't think they would have noticed if he went home for a while and came back again.

Bit harsh isn't it? There's no need to be so arrogant about it. Win with a bit of integrity will you. I'm sure they did their best on the day. They don't need smug gits telling them how bad they were.

Not at all mate. I just can't stand people who put other teams down. I mean everyone and his brother knows that your a lot stronger than Holycross. The gracious thing to do would have been to say they gave it their best and ye just had too much for them. Confidence I admire, but arrogance I despise.

When refereein the Boro v Cals Fai game , Got talking to Boro Guy and he said (when found out i used to work in Ballyneety driving Range he put two and two together and came up with 35.) that few years back that a scots guy from ballyneety was recommended to management to check out. I was standing there proud as punch Boro wanted to look at me then it click... There was another scots guy working beside me at Ballyneety at that time my good friend Grieg McSporran (class scots name) Midfielder.

Now i have read all these threads about how good a player is and is best in town... in my eyes this lad would have walked onto any team in Limerick. He was a class act , young (24) ,skillful , strong , very fast , Former Scottish Schoolboy Internationalist and could score goals for fun.... I left the Boro lad thinking it was me though i enjoyed the attention

He went back to Scotland Mid 2006, haven't heard from him for a while . might actually try to contact him soon... But i'm not joking he would have walked out to any team he was that good.

Not sure if anyone remembers playing against him , he did play with Holycross for year got injured half way through season
