This game was well worth the €8 in. Fairview were brilliant today. They were much the better team and totally outclassed Carrick today. Chucka and Christy Doyle were class.
How the hell did the Carrick captain manage to miss that chance before half-time?2 or 3 yards out, goal at his mercy, keeper on the ground just past his post and he managed to miss. The worst miss I've seen for a long, long time
Agree with you there, me and my son got in for a tenner, sat in the stand (great new seats by the way) and thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. I mostly go to senior games there but i thought as a game this was far more enjoyable and i think Fairview were very good in midfield, that lad Judge is a fine talent and Doyle who got the first goal was a real threat. Heard Jason the manager on the radio, he heaped all the praise on everyone but himself, very humble and again well done to both sides in tough conditions
bar that miss...and what a miss it was...carrick never troubled fairview who should have won by more.judge and buckley very good.disappointed with carrick,didn,t create a lot and nobody with any pace in their team.well done view.

Its been a tough week i think its the start of a new generation for us alot of work went in this year and now for a crack off the league
