Cobh played a 4-1-4-1 formation away to ringmahon as it is a very hard place to go and get a result and in my opinion they dealt with ringmahon quite well in first half mahon had not a single shot to talk about at half time.Second half mahon had a strong wind behind them and tried to play the long ball all the time but could only get into the corners were the cobh defence broke it up they also relied to much on the long through but cobh dealt with that as well and got a well deserved goal for their efforts in the end.

Dixie we're doing ok building well and trying to play good football. As for chief ??? Can't play for a team he's not signed for. Probably didn't even know the score.

We're only one week in and its started already. Let's hope were reporting on more football matters than these ugly scenes.
I remember a game only 3 weeks ago against your club and there were 2 players sent off and they were not from Rockmount.

Yes you're right and they were correct decisions. There was no malice in the 2 yellows each received and they were worthy of a yellow and from what I remember they didn't spit or cause a scene when leaving the field. Correct?

Agreed, but Monty should have got his marching orders before any Avondale players were sent off.

He did throw in a few challenges which could have been worthy of a yellow and I do remember a sneaky elbow on Tony tynan in the first half. Plus his mouth alone deserved a yellow. But he didn't get sent off but he was fairly lucky not to.

The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.
