can you not play junior football again for 5 years if you play a league?that sounds really harsh!so if celtic's venture into the a league didn't pan out for whatever reason (hopefully it does obviously) the lads couldn't then play junior football?surely you're wrong on that one reno?
What I said was Should a player regrade from a senior league, takes up undertaking that he would not return to senior league the following season, if he does, then he would not be allowed to return for 5 years. this is to prevent senior clubs abusing the rules. This is a Mayo League rule. /Connaught Rule Its even possible that the Mayo League may introduce A higher Transfer fee for regrade back to junior football to protect other junior clubs. This is how the £100 Transfer fee was introduce all those years ago when we had Connaught Senior League.

He has to be. Did Stevie Gavin take a five year sabbatical after playing Eircom league football? Not likely.
Think you missed the point, all players are entillted to b regraded under the terms and conditions of the league it plays in.
Stevie didn't come during the season he came pre-season

Balls, didnt know Danny was off to GAA :( Cracking keeper, the club needs 2 or 3 more keepers before season starts.
There was a lad up there with the A team, played against Partry, did he not sign. Can't think of his name, not seen him up before.
Good that there is 5 or 6 back, would want twice that to cover all 3 senior teams.
Still not sure if there is a 4th senior team yet. Not sure if it dead in the water.

Well no sign of a new keeper then, unless he was hiding on the bench :)
Celtic played well, good game. Nice side Erris, except they were the colors of the enemy :D

Would say thats not going to happen now with the keeper, I will say that its the first time in a while that the first 25min of last nights game was played in the Celtic Half. Erris were well orgainsed and played for each other. They had a few good players, No 11 stood out alot in my 3rd eye

future is bright. a lot of those players playing yesterday will be playing super league. the bench looked very strong and celtic were missing two of the starting eleven and still managed to blow corrib celtic away and they are one of the best teams in galway

Premier League start is postponed to the 12th of April Due to Erris in the Semi on the 5th. Does anyone know if the Celtic Connaught Cup Match will also be changed from the 5th? I know its an away match so it should not effect the fixtures.

Any word on the Westports silly protest. It really lets the club down this appeal. I just wondering what Connacht FA rules have West broken. None as far I know.

I wounld niot give the wesport crew the satisfaction of mentioning this any lionger as it only gives fule for the non existing fire. They need to take off the Roes tinted glasses and see the bigger picture. If only people protseted as much about our so called Govt Officals and the state OUR country is in we would be fine. Take a look at how our heath and education services are in bother and then perhaps life could be put in perspective for a lot of people. They lost the match tough !!!! and move on

Would you ever shut up about the health care system? This is a football forum, so talking about the Westport objection is a lot more appropriate than moaning about the State of the Country. Altough I can see your gripe with the education system: you clearly never learned to spell.

That was a typo, as I can only presume your lack of a space after a comma was. Twice. And lack of quotation marks around 'although'. It is quite nice. ;)
