Players from our club have played. player not to play was Sean SIMPLY he was never going to be picked so he didn't see any point. When he was overlooked.
What has this got to do with the comment made.
Don't want to get into this Oscar what!! I do remember not long ago when this comp had little regard to Mayo few short years ago. Bad pitch no dug outs ring a bell:D

Get off your high horse, as I said dont throw stones, your player was selected but did not because he thought he would not play. Now you are contradicting yourself.

No Martin Geraty (inj), Eoin McHale(gone) and with alot of the players suffering from lack of form lately. But still will be crowned champions simply because of their consistency and abilty to out play any team...

Im really looking forward to the season ahead,of course westport and celtic will be contenders for the title but there will be guarented upsets which could bring cups to different grounds in the county... I notice many have perdicted Ballyheane to be just above relegation zone, thats without doubt goin on last years standard, Peter Bourke back, Breandan O' Connor technicial training, Mick Hastings fitness, maximum attendance at training sessions and everyone raring to get started, along with a few other new faces out there and more to come, Ballyheane are not to be underestimated this season... Big game in the Boro this weekend. It will be interesting to see of all the money spent on pre season will show some return and how many of the new signings will start? Will Utd show last years league form and if they do, they will have no problem retaining the SL or will they continue their stumbling cup form? Ballyheane another club who have invested heavily in pre season (even if they say other wise) and according to info on this site, have a number of new players to be unveiled at the weekend. Iorras would be my outside bet to get between the big two. Best of luck to all teams for the coming season.

Heard that O'Connor & O'Brien of Corrib Rangers are lined up. I am just wondering if they do sign they might not be able to play in the Galway League next season as far as I am aware you cannot play summer football in Mayo and winter in another Connacht League (limited transfer between leagues per player), maybe Reno can advise.

What a great result for the Boro, any reports. Boro lads on the town tonight and righly so. Steady start for Town, 2 dropped points for Heane? Are the Utd Dream Team in trouble is that three defeats in a row. Not a happy camp I hear? Still think they will win the SL or could the Boro & Erris be the dark horses? Time will tell. I cant see Celtic doing much this year, 4 of the first five games already postponed.

snugboro got tow goals just b4 half time with great strikes from Stevie Gavin and David Roughneen. Paul Curry got sent off on the stroke of hal time.

westport dominated first half hour of 2nd half and got two goals but snugboro won it with goal from joel caprani. although westprt hit woodwork a few times i wouldnt deny snugboro the win. worked very hard with only ten men for the 2nd half.

I think anyone who watched the match between Ballina Town Vs Ballinrobe Town would have to say that the better team on the day lost the match. If ever we could have earned a valuable 3 points this season was yesterday, chances were plenty for us only for the end product. Ballina's goals came from a silly penalty after 5 minutes and a mis-hit freekick from out wide wihich somehow managed to sneak over our keeper 2win the game for Ballina in the 80th minute. James McTigue equalised in the 60th minute and we dominated much of the game after that. I am sure Ballina will play alot better than this for the remainder of the season but from a 'Robe' man's point of view, yesterday was a great chance to garnish a valuable 3 points.
