Ipswich have won every home game Jonathan Walters has scored in
Likewise Alan Lee, Ipswich have won every home game in which he has scoredThey've won every single home game except for one 0-0 draw. So they've won every home game ANYBODY has scored in! :)

Can't wait for Crafty's take on the penalty that led to Alan Lee's goal! Looked a shocker of a decision on TV.
Another goal for Walters - very cool finish, well taken goal.
Crafty?
I see your boy Garvan was back in the hub of things for Ipswich.

a shocker indeed Stutts, every week I watch linos pretend they cant see the CB pulling the shirt off the striker, while simultaneously trying to mount and hump him, and when one finally grows a pair and makes a call......... this is what he goes and does.
the card has been rescinded today, hope he's proud of that one.
as for the game, i wasnt there, lcfc dont exactly inspire midweek travelling just now. but it seems Garvan was busy, lots of shooting from distance for him which is good to hear. Sheehan was restored to the line up, this time in midfield, and he is mentioned as having delivered some quality balls. Hayes also got 20 mins on the left near the end.
Lee, Walters and Garvan for ipswich with Clarke getting on as injury time sub.

a little help here please boyos,
leicester u18s played tonight, with an O'Brien in goal, an O'Neill and a Burns and a Billy Kee also involved, now the leicester OS doesnt profile its players anymore, and id like to know how many, if any of these players are ours.
any site which does that? or whats the best way of going about it?

O'Brien is Kevin O'Brien, can't find anything out about him
The "O'Neill" is Luke O'Neill, but I can't find anything out about him either.
"Burns" is Robbie Burns, and I can't find anything about him either.
I got their full names from the Blackburn review of the game: http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/AcademyNews/0,,10303~1189521,00.html
From reading this thread - http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/lofiversion/index.php?t41498-0.html - it looks like Billy Kee is a local lad
You can tell he's from 'Sorrel, just by looking at him.
any site which does that? or whats the best way of going about it?
Don't know of any site that lists academy players, other than the official site of the club involved.
The only real way is to start googling the players name, add in "+Ireland" or "+Irish" and see if he shows up. Adding in "site:fai.ie" can help as well, this restricts searches to the FAI's website. If the player has ever been in an international squad at any level, then his name will show up in the search.
Like I did above, you can read the opposing team's review of a game for player names as well.
also an Arron Doran for blackburn
Aaron Doran is Irish: http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/AcademyProfiles/0,,10303~1081682,00.html
A lad called Conor Kavanagh came on for Blackburn as well, he's played for the U-16's: http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/AcademyProfiles/0,,10303~889576,00.html
There's two lads called O'Connor playing for Blackburn as well, both their profiles list them as English, but that doesn't mean they don't qualify:
Callum O'Connor: http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/AcademyProfiles/0,,10303~1081689,00.html
Michael O'Connor: http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/AcademyProfiles/0,,10303~889594,00.html (looks disturbingly like Alan Smith)

Ian Daly and Donal McDermott started for Man City's Academy side as they beat Millwall's Academy 5-1 in the FA Youth Cup. Both scored, with Daly's goal coming from the penalty spot. He also missed an earlier penalty. Millwall had a lad called Pat (or Patrick) O'Connor in defence, but I can't find anything out about him.

I see a few sites have him down as Sean now so I'll go with that from now on. ;)
ALL the talk may be about John Bostock, but it is arguably another Palace youngster who has made the bigger impression in recent weeks.
First year scholar Sean Scannell helped turn the game in the Eagles' favour at Loftus Road last week, and he was equally effective in stretching the Barnsley back-line when he emerged as a 55th minute substitute on Saturday.
The youngster - who has notched 12 goals for the under-18s this term, including the winner in the midweek FA Youth Cup victory - was presented with two half-chances at Oakwell, only for his composure to desert him on both occasions.
But if his snatched shots belied his tender years, Scannell's impressive maturity off the pitch spoke of an old head on young shoulders.

His booking yesterday was very strange. He got fouled and got up off the ground to confront the Inverness player. Both players had a few words for each other but they didn't touch each other and McGeady was booked. He'll now miss the next Rangers game because bans don't come into affect for 14 days.

Just had a browse of the paper in the canteen at work so not quite sure if i've got the whole story...There's a young dude O'Hara at Spurs (debut Saturday, had an assist) apparently at the centre of a tug of war between us and England according to the back of the Star (Or Sun). What it said was that he's keen to play for us but the FAI failed to act on a tip to approach him when he was on loan at Millwall last year....
Anyone know anything about him...

According to his wikipedia entry - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamie_O'Hara - he's played for England at u-16, u-17, and u-18, so I don't think he's been too keen to play for us.

He was arguably at fault for the same reason for the first goal too. In all I thought he did well enough. Not being in synch with the 2 CBs regarding holding the defensive line for through balls isn't a requirement of a midfielder though, so I'm not bothered. It's probably at least 2 years since he has played full back.

I hope Hunt does move to Everton.......it would be a far better move than Sundlerland. Ideally he should stay at Reading although the wages there are small in comparison to what they may get elsewhere.
I'm still not convinced Keane knows what he is doing despite have alot of money to spend.
Also its cringeworthy that some Irish players are moving to Sunderland just the fact its KEane - O'Donovan would have see more game time at Fulham......

*Slight exaggeration I know taking into account Robbie and big Richards form but you know what I mean.
Given that at the time, young Robbie was warming the bench for Leeds, and Richard couldn't decide if pints with his family or training with City was better for his career, I'd say it's not much of an exaggeration!
