Because of what he did for the Ports all those years ago. Was past it for them for the last few seasons he was there but Malone's back in charge of Glenavon and you wouldn't have to look too far to see the signings he's made already for january. For example ones a player who didn't do it for Armagh, says it all really.

Pat Fenlon in todays Derry Journal says that Derry will sign 4 players by the end of next week. One is a goalkeeper obviously, so it will be interesting week ahead.
