There was a thread last season attempting to calculate the extent of away support over each round, so no harm in keeping it up again for 2025 - Kerry have announced that their 52-person coach to Cobh has already sold out, so that'll be the minimum Kingdom contingent at Colman's Park on Friday.

Only glanced over briefly at bray end on Saturday but it was a small crowd, maybe 30 max?

Harps had about 20 in Kerry I'm told....Liked this thread last year. The guy updating got needless grief if he had to guess and answer or didn't update it on time

He did get a lot of grief. Don’t blame him not wanting to do it again.

Purely aiming to do a Nigel-style guesstimate for each club, which would then feed into overall, Premier and FD averages, though obviously with the numbers involved, should prove far less complex than his thread! 11k Rovers fans mentioned in the discussion for that game.

This is a small thing but it bugs me. We don't have a Premier League. We have a Premier Division.

When people refer to the English Premier League as the Premiership it bothers me too.

He got grief because he was coming up with bizarre numbers that didn't reflect reality and also ignored figures people were giving repeatedly.

You have a kindred spirit here: England has a Premier League, Scotland has a Premiership, we have a Premeir Division. It’s very very simple

EL P - Meet your brother drives me mad too, plus we have been Prem Div in LOI since 1985/86, the Premiership thing too in England, has to been at least 15 years since it was that, plus it started off as Prem League, then Premiership, then back to Prem League.

English Car Reg's (they are diff to NI Car Reg) is another, its not English, its GB, maybe we are turning into Alan Partridge !

Mates son was there, heard good few buses went up, they were all terrace side, but good few with kids went to the stand, he estimated 250-300 max away, pretty good if that was the figure.

Don't think it was as high as 300. It was something like 120 scanned in, but as said in attendance thread, might have been issues with scanning. I'd have said it was about 200. Good crowd up though all the same.

Fair enough Nigel, mates son sent us videos of the craic in the bars before around the town, said they were very well received, very friendly folk. Only been once myself, stayed in Jacksons, great night, summer game - maybe 16 or 17 and was a big win. Was going to look into going to the second away game in June, but its close to Kerry away second match.

General feeling amongst Dundalk fans I speak to is they are all up to embracing the different trips around the country, sure why not, after a deserved relegation, some positives.

Cork were given 300 tickets last season, so would presume you'll also get a 2-300 allocation.

Why does anyine in Ireland use the term 'GB'? Just say Britain.

(I know where the term originates from btw, but there are too many d!ckheads over there who think it's used because the world acknowledges how great they are).

GB just gets used in a shortened way, in the umm UK, its mostly just British thats used. It mainly us that tend to use English for all things British which grind my gears along with the odd Scot and Welsh. Grinds the gears of about half of NI people in the UK that we are all 'Paddy' which I dont mind and is funny to watch, 'Mick' on the other hand would result in a person getting volley of abuse in reply!! I use EPL for English top division.

Didn't come across on the stream so I'd feared maybe the shed lads had peaked too early in the day haha, good to hear it was a good atmosphere. A few FD clubs need to upgrade their pitch side mics, the atmosphere does be dead on the TV

And most got back today on the 747 Ryanair, sounded like a great weekend, myself and the mates heading down in July, can't wait. We'll get the info from the younger lads who went this weekend but heard it went really well.

Shamrock Rovers cancelling over 200 tickets on suspicion of the buyer being a Pats fan was very petty stuff. There is also a case to be answered over GDPR on how they gained the information to make their determination. If someone try’s to enter the home end in away colours then refusal is fair enough but cancelling tickets this way indicates that someone in Tallaght has too much time on their hands. It was a cramped section of the ground for so many Pats fans to be stuffed into.
