common problem at every club i agree. heard alot of problems at ashling too....lads not training but gettin picked, although their luck is changing, beat a poor granville side sunday!
I think you would have to ask Hu Rya about that, I think he could be a UL supporter, could be wrong there. I dont think thye are alone when it comes to teams being picked in a pub.
Gentle Ben

and beat them well by all accounts..doesn't seem to be affecting their results..they are one of the only teams in the city showing some form of late(apart from Star -before you get the chance to say it,abbeyvale)
What about Pike?
Gentle Ben

stand by what i said... if your call not pandering to some players every whim and request, pushing players away ... i might agree.as for x boro players at every club , maybe that is because the likes of T.murphy, T.browne,J.o'connor and a few more have put in the effort over the years to produce kids throught schoolboy football. you cant play all of the player that are produced.( same could apply to m.ryan with geraldines) Hopefully the boro will try to revive their schoolboys soon....
It would be good to see the schoolboys back at the Boro and Pike but I think its a case of finding people to give a hand. Its not fair having the same people doing everything. Pandering to players every whim, definately not.

Ben, Would love to know what you mean by the above statement...
It would be a shame if he did leave the club just because they are out of the FAI and it would be a shame if the reddies were the only attraction for him.

Pike have their schoolboys back 8,9,10,11,12s...i believe the 11s + 12s are top of their league's according to the local paper...the likes of Pike + Boro dont seem to interested in underage

No problems at aisling. One or two of the lads can't train due to work commitments or location but otherwise things are flying at the club. Don't know where you are getting your info.

Fraser Digby the Swindon legend, Good to see ULAA doing well and by all accounts playing well. Players travelling from Dublin to play shows committment - how many students actually play with ULAA's first team?

poor sides have to be beaten, Fairview only drew with Granville, Granville beat the Boro 4-1 and they also beat Balla - not bad for a poor side.

even though they are called 'the students' every week in the Limerick Leader,
aisling only have 2 players who were brought in from UL- Robert Coombes and Ben Spicer(the Irish Universities keeper).

is he out injured for awhile or what? wouldnt you think they would sign some sort of a goalie as back up.i know he might never play but even a GAA goalie or some fella at the end of his playing days.
are we heading for a backlog of fixtures this season?

pike should win the league from this position. Thats the priority for them this year, the fai or munster junior would be a bonus

i dont think so Pa Muls priority every year is the FAI.he wont leave the job until he wins it....

FAI will be there every year. To see another team win that league trophy the first year its on offer would be tough to say the least on alot of people involved with pike.....

There are a few teams that could go down but I don't think ULAA will be one of them, they are showing good form of late with Hill Celtic heading the opposite direction its very doubtful, you could have a surprise like every year when a team in midtable starts slipping and continues to do so only to find they are fighting a relegation battle and unprepared to do so.

Theres a new trophy this year for the premier league. The Fran Mulally cup, its the first year that it has been on offer and was put up by his wife. There are special winners medals for the first time it is won also. If i have to tell you who fran mul was, well............
