The hoops are too wide and the logo is too high up. Horrible shirt.

60 quid? The Celtic Tiger has returned to south Dublin.

Fans slipping and sliding on discarded smoked salmon tarlets just to hand over their money.

Kit is OK, no better or worse than the Warrior one. The inconsistency of the hoops is maddening.

Every year, I've suggested doing a proper photoshoot, but the usual...

It's a neat enough design, but if only Bohs and Derry hadn't got there first with Hummel, love their stuff. The white around the collar buttons is pretty cr@p. Also it'd look much better with just white City Calling text, or black outline around the text, the blue I think is quite out of place.

I actually don't mind what appears to be the button down collar?

Other than that it is pretty horrific (or else the people in the photo are stretching the fck out of it so much that it looks like its been sized for Mr Blobby).

Cobh seem to have Legea if the ad on their Twitter is anything to go by. Sorry don't know how to link using the phone!

No idea if we're sticking with Macron. We should usually do a job on merchandise, last season being a particular disaster. Most clubs will try and have a kit and accompanying merchandise available by Christmas. We'll be lucky to see anything proper by Easter

I tweeted (Is that a word?) the clubs that are missing yesterday. nothing back. Sent Macron a Facebook message today so hopefully they will reply

Shelbourne and Galway Utd confirmed by Macron. That said they also confirmed Limerick. Awkward!

Cobh could well just be using Legea for extra merchandise. All of Wexfords training gear was Legea last season in the same way. Lovely gear with Legea though, delighted that Harps have them on board for a few years.

The Longford Shirt is a 'Slim' fit and only comes in long sleeves according to this: http://www.macron.com/shop/eu/en/skoll-long-sleeved-jersey.html#description

Only place you could buy merchandise last season. Elverys ran the club shop on matchdays too when they bothered to show up...

Some thought has gone into both jerseys; the home is based on the late 70s one we wore when we won one of our doubles, the away--though not a replica--pays homage to the Dundalk GNR shirts. Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised by the look and bespoke designs. Good job, nothing like the old O'Neills coal sacks that I was dreading.

Both shirts have retro touches but still look fresh. It's nice to see designs that are unique.

The home jersey is sort of how the Bray and Cork jerseys should have looked like last season, also a real nod to 'Escape to Victory'. Away kit is almost identical to an old Hull City jersey. Both cracking designs and look fabulous.

CX+ have made a bit of a statement of intent with the thought that has gone in to the designs. Certainly not off some generic template. Hopefully when we get our hands on the replicas the quality will match the design. Not been a bad day at all for DFC with Fyffes extending their sponsorship and a few signings and contract extensions thrown in to the mix!

Black and gold. It was the colours Dundalk first played in.

Wexford have made a bit of a howler. They've put women's league and cup champions on the men's jersey! They've gone for a Torino style jersey with players names making up a symbol in the centre of the jersey and they've spelt a players name wrong. Also says division one champions instead of first division champions. Apart from that it's actual an unreal design, could've been brilliant only for the feck ups

If Elverys 'run' the merchandising shop do what little profits there maybe go to the club. A kind of rule of thumb of LoI jersey buying was to buy direct from a club if possible rather than from a sports store to try and give the club the benefit of the sale so was just wondering if there had been some arrangement with Elverys or whether the Galway need to organise some sort of club shop themselves.

Not the best image. Black with narrow gold strips. A nod back to the original black and gold Dundalk GNR shirt from the early 1900s.

The crest appears to be black and gold too.

The first image I saw made it look brown. Black makes more sense

(although it probably means black shorts and socks for home and away kits)

It was great to see the local business community gathered to launch the new kits yesterday.

Some fans were complaining that this was not a fan event, and while I understand their disappointment, this was an important event to further cement ties with local businesses and sponsors. If clubs are going to be successful, they need revenue streams beyond their supporters.

Also, to see three double winning Dundalk managers on the same stage was special.
