That's what you get for faffing about instead of controlling the game. Ward to blame for giving him the space to shoot.

What about O Shea?

Sub keeper on. Interesting. I assumed yer man was faking.

Georgia have changed keeper. We really need to test this guy more than we did their first choice. It's his second cap.

Both goals from long balls.

Keane is chasing shadows up there. Bring on Doyle and/or Long. Hoolahan too. Inject some f***ing urgency for God's sake. No incision or guile out there. We're leaking possession like a sieve.

Nice cross from Quinn there. I agree though, this match is crying out for Shane Long.

I saw it on my television screen. The referee walked right up to him and showed him the yellow card. I'm getting a Canadian feed of the match, perhaps whomever is carrying it in Ireland didn't show it. He was definitely booked on 41 minutes.
Well it hasn't been picked up by anyone, including the referee it seems.

Georgia think they can win this. Which is depressing in itself.

What about O Shea?
O'Shea left him for Ward to deal with, which was the right decision as he was going wide.

We knew that though? For the little handbags which saw the Georgian fella booked too.

Do we settle for a draw?

Or push on for the defeat?

UEFA have a direct feed to the referee and they don't have it.

Never thought things would actually get worse after Trapattoni but it's happening. We never ceded THIS much chances to a team of this standard under him.

Take Keane off and try to win this game or leave Keane on, settle for a point and end up losing?

Keane should not be on the pitch. He is not getting on the end of anything. The defenders have the measure of him. He is not getting any touches. And now he is losing the plot too.

Doyle or Long will rock this Georgian defence.

I'm not surprised, Armenia are a lot better than when we faced them.

TheOneWhoKnocks
07/09/2014, 5:22 PM
Same old same old.... same mistakes as the last regime being repeated. Totally losing control of the game. Taking too long to make changes.

Rubbish stuff. The pair of them can f*** off to the Championship or League One with this brand of football.

TheOneWhoKnocks

Georgia under the cosh. Nah... back to the keeper.

Denmark trail Armenia by a goal to nil. They make two changes several minutes later. Several minutes later they are level at 1-1.

The doofus we have is sitting on his hands letting the game totally slip away from us.

Settling for a draw when we have three different teams in the group yet to play who previous circumstances dictate we will fail to beat.

Same rubbish, different manager. Bring on Hoolahan, Brady & Long. This is a match we need to win ffs.

Ward looks to be hurt. I'm not a huge fan of his but he has played well enough today.

TheOneWhoKnocks
07/09/2014, 5:32 PM
Why aren't they making changes? My God in Heaven why aren't they making changes?

This is just completely and utterly baffling.

TheOneWhoKnocks
07/09/2014, 5:40 PM
Left it far too late to make changes. Bench management was a huge problem under the old regime and it looks even worse now. What do they expect Brady and Long to do now? The game has died a slow death. We have completely lost any modicum of momentum or balance that we had; and we didn't start with much to begin with.

Mountain to climb already now.

Not anymore, 1-1 now. We however, are absolutely dire and seem happy to take a draw. Shooting ourselves in the foot.

Denmark 2-1 Armenia.

Substitutions being made at the right time eh? Amazing what it can do.

It was their third and final sub who got the goal too.

We lack so much quality. So many rubbish crosses. Brady has been woeful since he came on *awaits Brady goal now*
