We could do with a striker whose aim is true, but I'd rather he wanted to go to Chelsea than Fleeetwood Town.

I think Stevie Nicks would be a better option.

Well, he's been very clear about (not wanting to go to) Chelsea, but in the modern game, I guess you can't always rely on what players say about preferred clubs. He won't get much get TV exposure at Fleetwood, but he'll probably be on the local Radio Radio.

Short announcement - with the season in the UK more or less over, apart from the cup final this weekend, I'm ok with some threads wandering off topic over the course of the close season

Danny Rogers mopped up at the Dumbarton player of the year awards earlier this month. Only turned 21 in March and played in the Scottish Championship all season.

Not a single penalty scored by an Irish player in the Premier League this season.

That must be a first.

Bobby Moseley was released by Birmingham City, but appears to have been taken on by Stoke, at least in the short term. He's part of their Hong Kong 7's squad, along with Ryan O'Reilly: http://www.stokecityfc.com/news/article/u21s-touch-down-in-hong-kong-2474614.aspx

Irish Abroad player appearance statistics for May 2015: http://t.co/N2Bwsenzdj

I'm compiling the appearance stats for 2014/15 at the moment, should be ready to publish in a day or so
Before that, let's have some trivia questions

What player started the most games?
Of the players who started 45 games or more, who completed 90 minutes in each one?
Two players started the most wins, name either one
Of the players who started four or more draws in total, who had equal numbers of home and away draws? (e.g. 3 home - 3 away, 4 home - 4 away, etc) There's nine players, I'll take any three
Three goalkeepers were substituted in 2014/15, name them
Of the players who were introduced from the bench. who scored the most goals as a substitute? (i.e. goals scored by a player when they came off the bench, not their total tally for the season)
The two top scoring midfielders had reverse records (i.e. one scored as many at home as the other did away from home, and vice versa) - who are they?/
Of the players who scored five or more goals, only one has a 100% win ratio from these games (i.e. his team won every game in which he scored) - who is he

All answers are players who played with teams in the Premier League, Championship, SPL or MLS clubs in 2014/15

Guessing a keeper? David Forde?

Both good guesses, but no
Forde started 50 out of 50 games for Millwall, O'Shea started 43 of Sunderland's 44 games this season, but the most starts goes to Richard Keogh of Derby, who started a frankly ridiculous 53 out of Derby's 54 games this season
The only game he missed was a 3-0 home win over Brighton in December!

Incidentally, Forde is the answer to question two - he played every minute of every game of Millwall's season.

Simon Cox

Good guess, but no. This player had three goals from the bench in 2014/15. Cox had one - against Brentford in October

Clue: he's a full international, but hasn't played under O'Neill
