Saints signed I believe 2 keepers, Colin Bargary is
back aswell, Darren lynch an Irish cap from cork aul side park united. As well as few lads from limerick you might be able to name limerick lads for us hotspur I'm not 100% on names yet

From what I heard they have 3 limerick lads,Brian Buckley,Darren o Sullivan and Christy Doyle,Doyle and o Sullivan are centre forwards and Is a centre half, probably one of the best centre Halfs I seen playing in limerick.I think he was capped a number of years back aswell.

Lost 5-4 on pens to Clonmel Town after a 2 all draw in normal time, marky walsh put us ahead 5 mins into the 2nd half, Clonmel drew level 5 mins later and went ahead with about 25 mins left, davie walsh equalized 5 mins later and the game finished 2-2. Best of luck to Clonmel in the final

Buckley can play full back and to be fair to him if he was commited to training and sharp he is a better centre back than the two boys there already IMO.. gave an exhibition in the FAI jun final against them in turners cross a few years back..

Cahir parks situation isn't even funny. Lads leaving to play with lower division teams all because there afraid they might lose a few games in the premier league!!! These lads will meet you in the street and chat to you as if there stars all because they won the first division. There afraid they'l be show up playing in the premier league some super stars them lads alright!!!

A lot of that cahir team that won division one were not from the town so can't be a huge shock that they have left. Must be very dissapointing for clubmen when local lads are leaving though.

I know some of the lads wernt from Cahir that have gone but lads have left to play with teams in lower divisions. Some have gone to other premiere league teams but I can't really see to many of them getting a game. The club bent over backwards for lads last year and wer willing to do what ever it would have takin to keep lads this year but lads in my mind wer afraid of the challenge of playin against the better players in the premiere league. They'd rather play down the division against players there a lot better than just so they'l get a pat in the back. If the park had kept last years team I'd have no doubt they would have had a good season.

Coconuts what players have ye lost that ye can't replace from last year there was a good youth team last year they should be making the step up surely

Coconuts

You can't expect a team of youths to compete week in week out with the type of players that are in the premier league. They'l nd up gettin bet more often that not and that's when lads lose interest and what happens then is they'l head off to lower division teams like what has happened in Cahir this season. You have to bring in a few youths at a time not throw in a load of them. I think most of Cahir youths would make great first team players but if there coached correctly which means bringing them in when the time is rite. It's looking like cahirs team will be made up of a lot of youths so fingers crossed it goes well for them.

I'm so sick of player hopping around the tsdl. How many times has it happened over the last few years where teams in the first division have become decent only to lose most of the players when they get promoted. Happens to Borris all the time, Bansha last year and now Cahir. Why lads can't stay loyal to one club is beyond me. There is a few lads around and i think that they are actually trying to break some record with how many teams they have played with over the years. There is a lot to be said for playing the lads from the parish and f*$k the rest of them. The team might not win any major trophies but at least the majority of the lads will stick with the club.

St. Michael's will always have the pick of the players from west tipp and i don't mind lads going to try and win thing with the bigger clubs. What really gets my goat up is lads playing in the lower divisions where they are constantly moving from one club to the next. I have no idea whats that's about. I can think of a few lads in the tsdl that have definitely played with 4 or 5 different teams over the last few years. Its the norm to be playing with a new club at the start of each year. A club might sign them, leave some of the local lads on the bench for him, the local lads lose interest and then the following year none of them are playing with the club.

Heard a rumour that the new Club Slievedarragh may have withdrawn from league already. The fact it is a week from the kick off of the season and no sign of any fixtures looks like the TSDL are having a real problem forming the various leagues. Have more teams fallen I wonder!

Fixtures up now for the next 2 weeks. Interesting 4th div shield tie sunday week between new teams slieverdagh and suirside. Suirside could tear the 4th division apart with the players they supposedly have this year.

Michaels away to cahir park next Sunday, walls homecoming and he might be on the bench after his decision to play GAA last night, that wouldn't go down well I'd imagine.

Sounds like few bitter cahir lads posting. Always going to be clashes with other codes this time of year and I'm sure management understand. The majority of saints first team play gaa aswell with their local clubs and no problem at all with it. The reason saints have such a big squad this year is to cover these circumstances hence why they have a first class reserve keeper signed in mark Lowry

Exactly mark Lowry is a very good GK but wall is 21 years of age maybe 10 years or more playing time ahead of him, Can't imagine wall sitting on the bench next Sunday against his home club and been happy about it he could be leaving cahir Park next Sunday as a park player.
