Time to laugh at a football fan.


A terrific 3rd eye was spotted during Cork City’s 3-1 away win at Crusaders in the Setanta Cup earlier in the week.


After a goalless first forty-five, Cork established a 2-goal advantage after the hour mark to set up their victory in Belfast. Daryl Kavanagh bagged the visitors’ second of the game, and after burying his goal he ran over to the touchline towards a small gathering of Cork fans.


What happened next was classic football banter rounded off with a comedy jeer from the crowd who all seemed to enjoy the FAIL of one Cork fan.

That is nonsense. The ref was giving Derry plenty of ridiculously soft free kicks.

Docherty took about 20 seconds for every single kickout without a word from the ref and the first time Sava does the same he's whistling for him to hurry up.

In fairness, the ref was giving soft frees to both sides. And as for Doherty, he always takes an eternity for goal kicks, even if we're losing. It's not time-wasting, he just likes taking his time. :p

Decent enough game. Gutted losing like that, but sure that's the way it goes sometimes. Thought we played alright, and it wouldn't have been all that noticeable that we were a man down for the second half.
Wasn't as impressed with Drogs last night as I was last week though. Thought they looked more fulid going forward at the Brandywell.

It was a definite sending off anyhow and while I didn't have a great view of the pen, the Derry players wern't complaining much.

Was always going to be tough after McBride went off, Drogs were all over us in the last ten. We looked out on our feet.

had a look at both the penalty claims on MNS last night. Both looked the right decision IMO. Rogers clearly got the ball for the second one. First one might've been closer

Our 4th successive Setanta semi final (a setanta cup record apparently). Hopefully it's 4th time lucky on making it to a final this year ... :eek:
