Haven't been able to concentrate on work the last few days - goosebumps thinking about Saturday, we're going up. :)

On another note, I hope for the sake of the league that Galway can put up something against Rovers tonight or it'll be a farce live on national TV.

tomorrow can't come fast enough
Our 26 seater leaves at 2pm, it'll be a great day no matter what the result.

In fact we're all really looking forward to it.

I know people have accused galway of being cynical this year to save money ,with it being the only year probably ever where it didnt matter how or what results you got,
Last week was shameful, im dreading tonigt

Surely Cork or Mons or Limerick want to see anything but Galway finding something to get confidence from...

I'm confident we'll beat Shels, and I'd rather see Galway win the playoff against Mons! Galway United's under 9s would add more to the LOI premier than Monaghan.

I think Galway are already playing their u-9 side, so maybe not.

Anyone but Galway probably seems appealing now, but once you've had to go to Gortakeegan a few times you'll be praying for Terryland!

I'd rather Gortakeegan, Lissywoollen, Finn Park and Terryland than some more 'established' Premier Division grounds, quite a few of them actually.

FAI have allowed us to play them on consecutive nights to potential gain an extra 3 points.:o

Well terryland is a fine little ground. but there's no too much wroing with Gortakeegan either. Stand with enough seats/cover for most fans. Nice little bar. What more are you looking for?

Gortakeegan is one of the better grounds - nice clubhouse, friendly staff, good banter and those hotdogs!! Always had a soft spot for it tbh. I suggest adamd164 hasnt been to a lot of the other grounds in the First Div!!!

I wish it concerned us but it wont.

Galway are 40/1 to win or 11/1 not to lose. Seems like madness, Rovers won't be exactly up for it and galway will surely be looking to put on a decent show for the cameras as well as looking for a boost before the playoff.

I'd normally agree with this type of thinking but if galway were playing cardboard cut outs I wouldn't be abcking them, even at 40/1

I don't think the odds are too far off.

Perhaps he has forgotten* Oriel, the away end of United Park, freezing Bray, 'quiet' UCD, Dalymount etc.

*I will leave the obvious jibe to the Shels fans...

a team with more than 350 fans after 2 incredibly competitive seasons?

Any dodgy betting patterns we should be aware of? Nothing at stake for anyone tonight, could be some "connected persons" looking to make some cash for the off season!

We've been in the Shed this season.

It only changes the view.

I like Drogs as an away ground too. Covered terraces are few and far between, usually a decent atmosphere when we play there.

Just because you're on the verge of returning to the Premier doesn't give ye the god given right to look down on teams again. Statements like that are cringe worthy

Some of it is over the top, they seem to be blaming us for the FAI's decision to have such a strange structure.

And when are they going to realise that the 3 clubs in Galway are not going to amalgamate
