Broadford united into open draw (5th round) after beating Newcastle Rovers 2-1 last weekend

Hollywood Hogan

Can't see either side progressing, mungret have lost 4 of their better players in the last year, hill Celtic are a decent 2a side, the fourth division in Limerick. I know they have beaten star in an earlier round but surely isn't too many sides from fourth division qualifying from other leagues. Wish all Limerick sides well in the future rounds but don't think Limerick will have as many representatives in later rounds as previous seasons

Tough draw for balla, after meeting pike already in munster junior. Have to wonder why this draw is held in secret? Who is actually present for these draws? Last year the top two Limerick teams meet in first round pike/fairview and this year pike/Boro. Now pike/balla in first round out of town!!!

Good draw for local teams in fairness only mungret away from home.. As regards the draw as far as I know you can send a representative to draw fairview did a few years back

Killester saturday side are the junior side that have entered this cup.

Also can anybody confirm the whole draw for the 5th round

24/11/2011, 9:06 AM
killester have a junior saturday team would be no great shakes. there junior team last year have stepped up to play intermediate 1b lsl and are flying it so all there better players will be playing in the fai intermadiate not junior cup.
for moyross if its kinsale they will prob end up playing they are direct and physical but not as good as they have been in years gone by. one exceptional player in Derek McCarthy but moyross will have a chance.

Moneygall FC or Bridge Utd v Dingle Bay FC or Ballingarry FC, Ballingarry have a great chance here Moneygall and bridge are poor sides

Tralee Dyn or Shannonside FC v Howth Celtic or Sheriff YC. Sheriff be favourates here but its a long journey down for them so will have to be on alert

24/11/2011, 9:13 AM
St. John Bosco or Donnycarney FC v Mungret Regional FC would the winners of the Bosco And Donnycarney side have a tough game against Mungret Regional FC Bosco in the league just below Killester and Donnycarney in the 3rd division of the Aul..

Well folks any bets.I reckon the best team in Dublin is Sheriff Yc.Only beaten on pens by the best team in Ireland last yr.They could be ready to go one better this time. They will beat Howth next Sunday easy and then will readily dispose of Tralee/Shannonside I would imagine putting them into the last 32.Its about the luck of draw then Id say.My own team Kilbarrack have Maynooth awaythis Sunday in R4.If we wein that one we have a home draw against Duleek or Carrick Rovers in R5.Were 33-1 which I suppose is about right.2 good outsiders could be Landen or Hardwick both in Prem B but should get promoted this season .66-1 FOR BOTH OF THEM

For me St Michaels at 7/1, beaten finalists last two years. They give one of the best performances I ever seen in their 5-1 win over pike in munster junior last year. Pike after losing 3 of last years squad and really struggling at the moment. Wayne Colbert huge loss to Pike.

Tramore at 14's are a great bet, although they will have it tough to get out of the area against Villa this weekend, they have a squad assembled from all parts of Waterford that is of the highest quality. I expect them, with the luck of the draw to go very far in this competition.

Tralee would be putting out their KDL team for this encounter, would imagine that the A Championship squad would be ineligible.

have to agree with kilbarrack man, think sheriff yc will go 1 better this year, wer very unlucky against pike in the semis. they've the same squad as last year withh a few new additions like john lester and young thomas mehan back with them they've built a squad for the fai. this team has been knocking on the dorr the last few years and probably just lacked the experience and wer a bit suspect in recent years away from home, think wins against salthill & shelbourne have proven this team has matured. also hearing a lot of negative post about pike and players they lost, wonder if they'll have enough lady luck and grit to go all the way again, think balla might just fancy there chances!

Tipperary results to-day and teams and the 5 teams through to the 5th round.
Clonmel Town 1, Clonmel Celtic 5.
Nenagh AFC 0, St.Michaels 3.
Peake Villa 5, Valley Rangers 3.
Bansha Celtic 4, Clodiagh Rangers 1.
Monegall 3, Bridge Utd 1.
Clonmel Town who have figured prominently over the years surprisingly hammered by neighbours Clonmel Celtic.
St. Michaels looked awesome against Nenagh, a superb team who will go a long way again this season.
Bansha Celtic into the open draw for the first time I think and their very tight ground will test anybody.
Peake Villa back into the open draw stages and are now going very well after a bad start to the season.
Moneygall will be well pleased at getting to the open draw stages and at home will be formidable.
