tough one for St. Michael's away to Lanen Utd (dub aul). landen on there day can put it up to most teams, the in prem b but will defo be promoted this year, aslo im sure they play in the aul complex and its renowned to have very bad pitches in in winter months and im sure it wont help Michael's playing style . might be an upset for on the cards!

if anyone has the full draw could they put it up please.

brownetube

killester wont be up to much, as its there sat side and all there sunday players are tied to intermediate football as they've just joined the LSL fron the AUL ...so its very unlikely they'll be loaded with 1st teamers. there a young side and are very much in a rebuilding process, there main priority for the next few seasons will be getting the 1st team into sun senior league as there currently 4 divisons bellow. they wont be walk overs but id expect use (assuming ur from carew pk) to have enough to beat them handy especially at home.

Carrick at 9's is way too skinny, must be out of fear stemming from 2008 when alot of us cashed in big time.

64 teams left in competition, 4 shorter than 10/1. Not much value there. Pike are short at 7/2, I think Michaels could go close but not much value there either. Loads of talk about tramore but teams usually have a history of going close before winning the comp

Not all the pitches in the TSDL are carpets kid, there is a couple of hairy ones about the place. Adapt and Overcome!

Why what's the athmosphere like there??

Why what's the athmosphere like there??

Very vocal home support, an in junior soccer support terms will have a huge support. could be 500 plus at it id hazard a guess. To compare it in cork terms it will be like playing for example knocknaheeny but the whole of the north side of the city will turn out to support them. in this scenario the oldschool football quote of score early to quiten the home fans would work a treat for ye, cause if they score 1st there fans will be the 12th man and drive them on

I remember playing a game in St Teresa'a Gardens down by the Coombe hospital in Dublin about 20 years ago, we had to drive through the flats to get to the pitch. they had to beat us to win the league, it was 1 - 1 with 10 mins to play. The home support got out the rocks and sticks and all sorts of weapons, the intimidation was shocking. It was a nothing match to us, our keeper let in 2 goals to give tham the win. Our cars still got pelted on the way out. Hope them scenes are gone from todays football

Tralee dynamos beat shannonside from the Desmond league 2-0 but the Tralee goalkeeper was sent off the round before in the fai.that's why it's held up

If what you say is true well then its a no brainer - Tralee will be eliminated.

buddygeary23
06/12/2011, 11:45 AM
That's what the shannonside manager told me this
Morning.the keeper got sent off in the 3rd round and played against shannonside in the 4th round.

from the Tralee Dynamo website:

05/11/2011:
F.A.I. JUNIOR CUP: Spa Road 0 Tralee Dynamos 1 - Damian Diggins was the match winner on the night. Well done to Ross and the boys, a massive effort put in by all.

not much of a write up??

badker
06/12/2011, 2:52 PM
Depends what he was sent off for? there is a chance the red card could have been rescinded by the referee after the game. Especially since it was at local level. If Tralee played him illegally it will cost them the game. I cannot see how a manager or secretary would take a chance on playing him.

A referee can't recind a red card after a game .. It's up to the fai to do that..

they ref could put it in as 2 yellows after the game if he likes

If the ref puts it in as 2 yellows well then he should be suspended anyway

theboywonder8

A yellow followed by a second yellow and red is still a suspension,I'd presume
