carew 2up after 30mins it could of been more they played some fantastic football on 34mins the whole game changed with a very poor pen givin to the boro (it was a pen) 1min later carew centre half caught on the ball 2-2. all in all boro deserved there win shane clarke was the diff amazing player his finishing for his 2n and 3rd goal was unreal. boro will def go for the title with pike but IMO they need to strenghen there backline apart from that there very strong.

Sure won't wayne colbert strenghten them.

Carew park are a very poor at the back gave away soft goals mid table at most every year carew get off to a flyer but cant keep it going why is albert still playing, looking at the boro side they will need to improve to beat pike alot of new signings in such a short time and i think they need time to play together, fairview will join carew in mid table when they say a wheel goes a full circle i think its happening to fairview now.

colbert is a fantastic player....everyone knows that
he will give the boro something extra this season.
rumour has it that he is not the only one making his way to pearce stadium,who played(or should i say plays) with pike.
on another note was at the view match yesterday.
felt sorry for the keeper(fantastic player).
too many of the players were again just going through the motions.
think it's time that some of the younger players in the club got a chance.
i know they have lost a few of their best lads to limerick under 19's,but the likes of moloney,power macnamara and a few more should be given a chance

On the wembley pike game,im afraid our old failings came back to haunt us as we gifted them 5 of their 6 goals through poor decision making and schoolboy mistakes,in general play we did well against them but stupid mistakes gave them the 3 points on a plate.Fair play to pike they sniffed blood and took full advantage,best of luck to them for the rest of the season.

geting back to soccer lads i cant see anyone beating pike to any of the top trophys again.boro will come close and have a good squad put together but for me its pikes season again.

Aisling started the game well and (Cusack I think) scored within the first 5mins through poor defending by Star, Star then rasied their game and dominated the rest of the game and went in 2-1 at HT through goals by Morton and McDonnell, they then tacked on a 3rd goal midway through the 2nd half through Dale Mc, and went on to win comfortably.

I have said it before stewie should give the young lads a go that won the fai youth cup its not working at the moment but some of the younger players would play for the jersey the league is surly out of there reach it was a great win for regional and it might kick start there season, did carew park have a man sent off.

Players from outside have been brought in and have been giving a chance and some of the youths are disappointed they havent got the same chance after winning the fai youths cup , not having a go at pat mc garry but when they lost to the boro and he was standing watching it as captain of the club and some of the youths who have came up through the club since they were 8yr olds and not been giving a chance hard to blame them for been disappointed.

don't know what your game is to be honest.

yet that's what you have been doing in your last few posts.
lads dissapointed,that he walked back into the team etc..
i have seen more then most what these young players are capable of,and at this stage i don't think that anyone of them that play centre half would be any way near better then mcgarry at this point in time...

Fairview 4 - 0 Wembley.

Very unlucky for Wembley that they've had to play teams from the top end of last seasons table. They're a nice side. Always try to keep the ball on the floor and play it. Besides the Delap long throws that is! If they regroup after the first few games they should start seeing some rewards hopefully.
